  I have an application that takes a long time to open odbc connections (like 20 sec) also takes forever using arcmap and arcsde but when I try the connection on the odbc data source administrator, it tests it really fast Does anyone have any idea of what my be causing this? btw the application works fine in another computer with another database thanks.

  Hello, does anyone know how to backup Windows 2008 R2 with hidden partition to a network share? For Windows 2008 I used: Wbadmin start backup -backupTarget:\\xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx\Backup -include:C:,D: -vssFull -quiet but now when Windows 2008 R2 has his hidden 100mb partition on first disk I don't know how to add it to "-include:C:,D:".   Hi, I have a pivot which includes goals and year results. Because goal is the same on each meausure, I have to average the goal in the pivot in order to show the correct amount. I then want to calculate v% between the goal and the year result. Because the goal is averaged, v% cannot be calculated correctly. Does anyone know of a way to do calcuation like this in a pivot?   I'm an Emacs/Mac user trapped on Windows at work and I often type Control-W from muscle memory to delete a word and thus by mistake kill the entire window, including everything that I was working on. This a particularly egregious problem for Console2 as I run GNU Screen and am often doing many things at once.
