  Hi, Similar to the print to pdf option, where we can choose PDF to be the output format in the print dialog box when printing something from a browser or other applications, I am searching for something which can print to a Power Point file. Is there any such plugin or tool? Also link to a relilable print to pdf tool would be helpful. • How can I use Outlook 2007 to connect to mail service using active sync protocol

  Has anyone tried connected outlook(I am running v2007 on Windows 7) to a mail service using the MS Exchange Active Sync protocol? If so, how did you do it? Wouldn't this solution probably eliminate the need for all the hacks/APIs needed to connect outlook to 'X' mail (Gmail, notes, etc)? I know it is intended for mobile devices, but to me it looks like it is becoming the latest 'de facto' mail protocol for email/calendar/contact sync'ing due to the iPhone's support for it. Thanks!

  Hello, on linux we autenticate users against AD. The AD users are not listed on /etc/passwd. We are about to deploy a NFS solution to mount some extra space for each group of users. If a user(A) with sudo su privileges goes to root, then he can impersonate user(B) just by su user(B) and going to the NFS. Is there any way to disallow root to su user if the user is not listed on /etc/passwd ? Thanks.

When a playlist is created, is a copy of the song made? eg, the playlist has it's "own" copy of the songs in the playlist?   I would like to set up a portable PXE server for diagnostic purposes. The issue is that I won't always have access to the DHCP server, or the router itself (sometimes a home router) doesn't have an easily accessible place to set the servername/file for broadcast. I know that Trinity Rescue Kit is able to broadcast its PXE server without its own DHCP server. Can anyone point me in the direction to set this up on my own (without Trinity)? Thanks.

• Can't get decent refresh rate on crt connected to dvi

  Hi, I have a CRT connected to a dvi connector on a videocard using a vga cable and a dvi to vga adapter. Now I cannot set the refresh rate to anything decent (only 60Hz and lower). I've hat this happen using different CRT's, graphics cards (although all ATI, both agp and pcie), and operating systems (both linux and windows). Any idea on how to solve this, maybe some bios setting? Thanks

  Im intrested in buying a laptop from the HP HDX series, but I have one concern. As you can see below, they have touch sensitive buttons above the keyboard which are lit up. I cant help but think how distracting they would be if you were watching a film on it. So does anyone know if its possible to turn these lights off?   I installed the Ubuntu desktop on a Ubuntu 9.10 VPS server and am able to connect to the server using TightVNC. However, the VNC server on this VPS can only be started by logging in through SSH and typing the following command: vncserver :1 -geometry 800x600 -depth 16 -pixelformat rgb565 If I run this command on startup or as a schedule task, it won't start. Currently, when I "accept" outlook originated events they are added to my "work" cal by default and not sure how to sync this or have this sync'ed to my google cal.   Hi there, I have a Logitech Trackman mouse, which I love and would like to take with me on my travels. However, the receiver for this thing is highly unportable (for use on a train, for example). I know you can get tiny wireless receivers like on this mouse.
