  i am building a button that allows a user to browse to a file. i want to get the location of the file and send it to printdialog. can this be done and if so how? i know how to create the browse funcitonality and how to get the location... my question is how to send the location of the file to the printdialog for printing...without opening the file my goal is to print to pdf... so if i can convert the .doc to pdf without printdialog that would be the best a user will browse to a file and convert it to pdf to a static destination

But it fail on the row printf("a\n"); and says Segmentation fault (core dumped) Output: &a = 134525024 Segmentation fault (core dumped) When I remove the row printf("&a = %u\n",(unsigned)&a); from the code, its success.   I have created a script that requires my microphone. It uses the HTML5 speech recognition API. Chrome asks permission every time I want to perform a speech recognition test. • How do I write to command line from a WPF application?

  Hi I know how to write to console but if I write to console in my program and call my program from the command line it won't display anything. How do I make it so that when I say Console.WriteLine or Console.Out.Writeline ir prints to the command prompt from which it was called and not somewhere else? Once again I know how to do Console.WriteLine so it's not that :-p unless I'm doing it wrong. From what I can tell it's probably something to do with Console.SetOut(TextWriter t) this is a WPF application and I need it to post its data to the command line while still retaining the GUI at startup. I've triple checked and my code hits the print lines, I can actually see the lines being printed to the Visual Studio output window, it just won't display in the command line when I run it manually without VS. If possible I need to conditionally have the console display. ie if run from command line (or even with command arguments), display or post to the prompt, otherwise do not.

  I have lyrics for about 60% of my song collection. The filename of the lyrics is the same as the file name of song with zzz_ prepended to the filename and .lrc as the extension. C:\Songs\album\song.mp3 C:\Songs\album\zzz_song.lrc I currently print the file names like so for /r "C:\Songs" %%f in (*.mp3 *.flac) do ( echo %%f ) How can I create a boolean in the if statement within the for loop as a check on the existence of lyrics files? I was thinking something like if exist zzz_%f echo zzz_%f.lrc but zzz_%f prepends zzz_ to the full file path (ex. zzz_C:\Songs\album\song.mp3) and .lrc is appended to the existing extension

  Lets say my form called a servlet. I would do some processing in it. In the servlet i want to print something on the page. for that i used PrintWriter out=response.getWriter(); out.println("some text here"); then further in the servlet i did some more form processing which works fine and after that i want the servlet to be forwarded to a jsp page. For this i used RequestDispatcher rd = request.getRequestDispatcher("/somepage.jsp"); rd.forward(request, response); the problem comes here. the text some text here gets printed, but the servlet doesn't forward request to the jsp page, as if the code doesn't run.

  I read a question earlier asking if there was a times method in Python, that would allow a function to be called n times in a row. Everyone suggested for _ in range(n): foo() but I wanted to try and code a different solution using a function decorator.   Im trying to perform DFS on a Minimum Spanning Tree which contains 26 nodes. Nodes are named 'A' to 'Z' and the tree is undirected. I have an empty function called DFS here that I am trying to write, which (i presume) takes in the tree (a 2D array) a startNode (randomly selected node 'M') and the endNode (randomly selected node 'Z'). The weights of connected nodes are identified in the 2D array parameter, but how do I actually get started visiting nodes? All that is required is to print each nodeName in the order of the DFS traversal. Do I need to create a Node_class for each node in the 2d array??

  I would like to kill a quoted string in a source file without having to mark the beginning of the string and kill-region, but just by placing the point anywhere inside the quoted string and pressing a shortcut. I tried to write a function in elisp for this, but I figured out that the file would need to be parsed from the beginning up to point to determine whether the point is inside quoted string, and to find the bounds of the quoted string(also handle the \")... But the file is already parsed by font-lock. So now I can find out if I'm inside quoted string: (defun inside-quoted-string? () (interactive) (print (find 'font-lock-doc-face (text-properties-at (point))))) But how do I get the bounds of the string? font-lock knows it, since it nicely highlights it in blue, but how do I get it?

  I'm working on a spoj problem, INTEST. The goal is to specify the number of test cases (n) and a divisor (k), then feed your program n numbers. The program will accept each number on a newline of stdin and after receiving the nth number, will tell you how many were divisible by k. The only challenge in this problem is getting your code to be FAST because it k can be anything up to 10^7 and the test cases can be as high as 10^9. I'm trying to write it in python and having trouble speeding it up. • Rscript does not recognize setGeneric function

  I am trying to convert an R script into something that a client can run in batch mode. My code uses generic functions and one snippet which is near the beginning goes like: setGeneric("testInput", function(inputData, params = list()) standardGeneric("testInput")) I've been using R CMD BATCH and it works fine. However I couldn't find an easy way to make my script print the output on the console, so based on that (and suggestion that Rscript.exe is the "proper" way to run R batch files) I decided to switch to Rscript. However when running the very same .R file with Rscript I get the following: Error: could not find function "setGeneric" Execution halted I know there is probably a trivial reason behind this but I just cannot figure it out. Can someone please point me to where the mistake is? Thanks so much in advance. Cheers!

• Is this the best way to get the size of a Paper via CUPS?

  I've got a CUPS job control file. I need to get the actual dimensions of the print that was made. This is the way I've figure out to do it: Get the paper name using the media attribute. (e.g. Letter) Get the printer uri from the printer-uri attribute. (e.g. ipp://localhost/printers/MyPrinter) Get the printer name by passing the printer uri to the IPP_GET_PRINTER_ATTRIBUTES operation and getting the printer-name attribute. (e.g. MyPrinter) Get the path to the PPD passing the printer name to the the cupsGetPPD method. Open the PPD passing the path to the PPD to the ppdOpenFile method. Get the paper size by passing the PPD and paper name to the ppdPageSize method. This will work, but it seems a bit roundabout. Is there a more efficient way of getting what I need?

  I'm trying to make a linked list class in python (pointless I know, but it's a learning exercise), and the method I have written to remove a node doesn't work if I try to remove the first element of the linked list. If the node to be removed is anywhere else in the linked list the method works fine. Can someone give me some insight as to where I've gone wrong?   I have a file called main.py and a file called classes.py main.py contains the application and what's happening while class.py contains some classes. main.py has the following code main.py import classes def addItem(text): print text myClass = classes.ExampleClass() And then we have classes.py classes.py class ExampleClass (object): def __init__(self): addItem('bob') Surprisingly enough that's not the actual code I am using because I've stripped out anything that'd get in the way of you seeing what I want to do.
