  • Jira Logs me out every 10 minutes of inactivity

    Hi guys, I am using Jira at work (v4.0.1#471) and my session seems to expire about every 10 minutes of not using it, which is quite annoying. I don't know why this is happening as it doesn't affect my colleagues who are also using Jira. I am using Firefox 3.6.3 on Vista. Jira is installed on Ubuntu Hardy server edition. What approach should I take to debug this problem? Thanks,

  • Linux clock sets itself wrong on every reboot

    Every time my computer (Gentoo linux) reboots the clock is several hours off: /etc/localtime is set for the correct timezone /etc/conf.d/clock lists the correct timezone running sntp -r 0.gentoo.pool.ntp.org fixes the problem... until reboot setting the time manually using date also fixes the problem... until reboot The System clock is set to UTC This is starting to drive me nuts :(

  • Postfix mailq - send every x minutes

    I got about 2000 clients on my website that have subscribed to our mailing list. I've used in the past Swift Mailer but it didn't work the way it was supposed to. I'm wondering if there is a way that Postfix could keep emails on the mailq (if lots of emails are sent at the same time) and send chunks of 20-30 emails every 10-20 mins. So this way, our server is not blacklisted. Any suggestions will be appreciate it.

    Every 30 minutes, almost by clockwork, a get the following error on my Windows 2008 R2 servers: Log Name: System Source: MSiSCSI Event ID: 113 Level: Warning Description: iSCSI discovery via SendTargets failed with error code 0xefff0003 to target portal *10.2.62.3 0003260 B06BDRV\L4SC&PCI_163A14E4&SUBSYS_045F1028&REV_20\5&cabe3b7&0&30050200_0 I have 12 identically built servers connected to this iSCSI network and they are all seeing this issue. I've updated drivers and firmware levels without any change. Any other obvious things I should try before engaging my network team and the vendors.

    What I seek is advice, or experience of, actually USING a Windows 7 Restore Point in ANGER. I have created the restore points, can see them, and read the instructions. I also realize it won't harm my documents, but are there any pit-falls? Actually the machine is a quiet, under-used with no recent program additions, so I don't anticipate any complications, nevertheless gotchas and tips are appreciated.

    I connect to the wifi acccess-point at work, but recently I suspect that data on my phone is being snooped-out from my phone connected to my office's Wifi network. [Phone Model: Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo V, Android v2.3; Wifi accespoint: Belkin G] How can i check my suspicion? Or What are the ways i could get over them? (obviously i want to stay connected to the wifi n/w) Any thoughts on these points?

    I've edited a pps file which was made with the 2003 version and saved also as compatible with Power Point 97-2003 but a friend a mine can't see the last version of the file. The original file can be seen by my computer friend. What can I do to make the new version of the pps file to be viewable on the computer of my friend? Any tips? Where/what else do I have to check/do ?

  • can't find ip of wifi acess point

    I setup an wireless AP (linksys wifi router) to have no dhcp and point to the main router as the default gateway. I also set it up to obtain a ip from the network but when i go to my main router and look for it i don't see any ip's that it could be If i use net stumbler i can see the mac address of the wifi portion of it but Im at a loss how to get into the web console of this router any ideas on how to "find" this router?

  • Linux clock loses 10 minutes every week

    One of my linux server's clock loses 10 minutes every now and then, nearly every week. I update the time so it stays correct, and although it doesn't really bother me, i'd like to fix it. I've been searching around a bit. Nothing can be responsible in the crontab, and i can't find any related message in the logs. Some people seem to use ntp to fix that kind of issue, but i'd prefer not to use an unecessary component on it.   • All wireless networks suddenly disappear every once in a while

    Lately, about every 15-60 minutes, my wireless internet connection disappears. When it does I can't find any other wireless network, though such networks exist. Only after rebooting the system, it goes back to normal and finds wireless networks, but only for a while. 15-60 minutes later it's disconnected again, not finding any wireless network. I'm using Windows 7 on Lenovo Thinkpad X201s. What could it be?

  • how to use a PHP Constant that gets pulled from a database

    Can you read out the name of a PHP constant from a database and use it inside of a php variable, to display the value of the constant for use in a menu? For example here's what I'm trying to accomplish In SQL: select menu_name AS php_CONSTANT where menu_id=1 the value returned would be L_HOME which is the name of a CONSTANT in a php config page. The php config page looks like this define('L_HOME','Home'); and gets loaded before the database call. The php usage would be $db_returned_constant which has a value of L_HOME that came from the db call, then I would place this into a string such as $string = '<ul><li>' . $db_returned_constant . '</li></ul>' and thus return a string that looks like $string = '<ul><li><a href="#" onclick="path_from_db">Home</a></li></ul>'. To sum up what I'm trying to do Load a config file based on the language preference query the db to return the menu name, which is the name of a CONSTANT in the config file loaded in step one, and also retrieve the menu_link which is used in the "onclick" event. Use a php variable to hold the name of the CONSTANT Place the variable into a string that gets echo'd out to create the menu displaying the value of the CONSTANT. I hope this makes enough sense...is it even possible to use a constant like this? Thanks.

  • DefaultTableCellRenderer getTableCellRendererComponent never gets called

    I need to render a java.util.Date in a JTable. I've implemented a custom renderer that extends DefaultTableCellRenderer (below). I've set it as the renderer for the column, but the method getTableCellRendererComponent() never gets called. This is a pretty common problem, but none of the solutions I've seen work. public class DateCellRenderer extends DefaultTableCellRenderer { String sdfStr = "yyyy-MM-dd HH:mm:ss.SSS"; SimpleDateFormat sdf = new SimpleDateFormat(sdfStr); public Component getTableCellRendererComponent(JTable table, Object value, boolean isSelected, boolean hasFocus, int row, int column) { super.getTableCellRendererComponent(table, value, isSelected, hasFocus, row, column); if (value instanceof Date) { this.setText(sdf.format((Date) value)); } else logger.info("class: " + value.getClass().getCanonicalName()); return this; } } I've installed the custom renderer (and verified that it has been installed) like this: DateCellRenderer dcr = new DateCellRenderer(); table.getColumnModel().getColumn(2).setCellRenderer(dcr); I've also tried table.setDefaultRenderer( java.util.Date.class, dcr ); Any idea why the renderer gets installed, but never called?
