• Android - LinearLayout Horizontal with wrapping children

  Is there a property to set for Android's LinearLayout that will enable it to properly wrap child controls? Meaning - I have changeable number of children and would like to lay out them horizontally like: Example: Control1, Control2, Control3, ... I do that by setting: ll.setOrientation(LinearLayout.HORIZONTAL); foreach (Child c in children) ll.addView(c); However, if I have large number of children, last one gets cuts off, instead of going to next line. Any idea how this can be fixed?

  Hi, I am new to Flex, so please bear with me. I have encountered a strange problem. There's a ActionScript class which dynamically creates basic UI element. So I create RadioButton as var rBtn:RadioButton = new RadioButton(); and then put it in a Panel Container. The problem is that it appears to be a Button. However it behaves like RadioButton. I have found this problem with one more guy who has posted it here. CheckBoxes and RadioButton looks like Push Buttons. Please help me out with this. Thanks.

  I have a report (Reporting Services) integrated into an ASP.NET that shows dropdownlists to select report parameter values. The dropdownlists are populated using direct database selects, though I see the report RDL files do contain the paramter values and datasets as defined in the report designer. Is it possible to obtain the report parameters "available values" in ASP.NET to populate the dropdownlists? This would avoid some code duplication.   Hey, my app parses numerous txt files in a directory that are almost all formatted identically, then inserts the values into columns of my sql db. However, there are a few files that the app has come across where a value is 'blank' instead of '0.0', so the application fails stating that it cannot convert that value to numeric.   How can I order the results from "group ... by... into..." statement in linq? For instance: var queryResult = from records in container.tableWhatever where records.Time >= DateTime.Today group records by tableWhatever.tableHeader.UserId into userRecords select new { UserID = userRecords.Key, Records = userRecords }; The query returns records in table "contain.tableWhatever" grouped by "UserId". I want the returned results within each group ordered by time decending. How can I do that? • ASP.NET MVC 2 - Checkboxes

  I'm using string[] roles = Roles.GetAllRoles() to get a string[] of all the ASP.NET membership roles for my application. I'm sending the roles to my view in ViewData and using a foreach to create a set of Checkboxes using <%: Html.CheckBox("RoleCheckBox") %>. There are 3 roles and my view does render 3 checkboxes. When I do a View/Source, I see the checkboxes and their corresponding hidden tags. They all have the same, so there are 6 tags with the name "RoleCheckBox" - 3 that render the checkboxes and 3 that are hidden. The problem comes when I post the form back to my controller and bind the results - something like public ActionResult Create(Person person, string[] RoleCheckBox). I get FOUR strings and I have no idea where the fourth string ("false") is coming from. I could do some testing by trying various combinations of checks to see which one (hopefully) doesn't change and ignore it but that's just ugly. Does anyone know why this would be happening? • Strange CSS Positioning issue with a fader on a responsive site

  I'm developing a prototype responsive wordpress theme version of my homepage. I'm running into issues with the fader on the homepage. http://dev.epicwebdesign.ca/epicblog/ When the image switches, it uses position:absolute to overlay the pictures, then goes back to position:relative. I need to make the absolute be relative to the bottom left corner of the menu instead of the top left corner of #wrap so it doesn't overlap. I tried putting it in a container div like this: http://wiki.orbeon.com/forms/doc/contributor-guide/browser#TOC-Absolutely-positioned-box-inside-a-box-with-overflow:-auto-or-hidden but that doesn't seem to work. Any ideas? There are major CSS compatibility issues in IE, try it in chrome. It should look similar to http://epicwebdesign.ca. When the browser window is shrunk horizontially, the whole theme compensates.

  Here's the deal. I'm trying to write an arkanoid clone game and the thing is that I need a window menu like you get in pyGTK. For example File-(Open/Save/Exit) .. something like that and opening an "about" context where the author should be written. I'm already using pyGame for writting the game logic. I've tried pgu to write the GUI but that doesn't help me, altough it has those menu elements I'm taking about, you can't include the screen of the game in it's container.
