I want to use it on the webpage, but at the install window the name is MyActiveX.cab with no link. the MyActiveX.cab name can be changed by modifying the html page's tag codebase attribute. but the name is still format like "XXX.cab" with no hyperlink.     Hi iam using a listbox to show a list of items. in the listbox i ahve an togglebutton on every item. When i click on the toggle button the state of the togglebutton is pressed. But when i am scrolling down in the listbox and scolls up again. The togglebutton state is not pressed. How can i prevent this please help.   • Is there a way to set the minHeight of the scroll bar thumb in Flex 3

    In my project we needed to make the scollbars look like Windows scrollbars. Therefore I have a thumbIcon on the thumb of a vertical scrollbar, but if I get too many items in the combobox, the scrollbar gets fiddly. This is because the margin between the thumbIcon and the border of the thumbSkin is too small. Is there a way to set the minimum height of the thumbSkin so that I can ensure there is always a margin there and it always looks good, even if there are too many items? Image above, see the thumb? By the thumbIcon I mean the 3 horizontal lines. The top and bottom margin between this icon and the border of the thumb itself is too small. This is the normal scroll bar, the thumbIcon and the borders of the thumb have enough margin, which make the scroll bar look a lot better.

    So I'm trying to display a simply image with the SDL library, but when I use the function SDL_BlitSurface() nothing happens, and all I get is a black screen.     Hi, I have a problem with IE (all versions). I have a header div with a relative position and inside this another div with absolute position and right alignment. <div id="header" style="position: relative; width: 1000px; height: 60px;"> content http://stadtwerke-bitburg.de/fileadmin/overflow_prob_IE.png Now when I open the pulldown menu in FF/Safari/Opera everything is all right. Whereas in IE everything which is taller than 60px disappears behind my header div. Is there a workaround for this problem with CSS or do I have to write javascript to get this fixed? thx TC

Which is a real shame because set table() needs dataSetLoader to already be set in order to call its load() function. So my question is, is there a way to enforce an order on the calls to the set functions when declaring a component?

    hi guys, im working with the jquery ui draggable plugin and i have an html 5 video element with "preload controls" that acts kind of buggy. I $(".thumb").draggable(); if i drag the video by clicking on the video controls and i'm releasing the mouse again, the video still sticks with the mouse. <div class='thumb video'><video width='260' height='200' preload controls> i have no chance to release the video again if i started draggin it at the video controls. any idea how i could fix this! i probaply should script my own video controls to fix this.

  • Passing a variable to jsp when reloading an iframe using javascript

    In my javascript code I load a jsp page in an iframe and pass some variables like this: htmlData[i++]="<iframe id=\"mapframe\" frameborder=\"0\" style=\"width:330px;height:300px\" src=\"" + "mapURL.jsp" +"&lat=" + AjxStringUtil.urlComponentEncode("33.65") +"&lng=" + AjxStringUtil.urlComponentEncode("-84.42") +"&accord=" + AjxStringUtil.urlComponentEncode(accord) +"\"></iframe>"; Then I have to reload that jsp page after an action, and I do this: accord = ui.newHeader.text(); document.getElementById('mapframe').contentWindow.location.reload(); The reload works except that the "accord" variable is not getting updated. When I call it from the jsp, it still has its original value. How do I pass the new value when reloading the iframe/jsp? It shouldn't make any difference, but I am working with jquery and this is for a Yahoo zimlet. Thanks.

    for a Java project for a University Class I have a method that saves ASCII images as a uniline string and another method called toString rebuilds this ASCII image and returns as a string. When I run my program on the Eclipse my output looks on console alright and multiline, and there are line breaks where they should be.     Hello, I have an application set up where the window contains a tab bar controller and one of the tabs loads a NIB called 'ShowCaseView.xib': this file is owned by a custom ShowcaseViewController class. In the ShowcaseViewcontroller class I have added a UIScrollView object, like so: imageScrollView = [[UIScrollView alloc] initWithFrame:[[self view] bounds]]; [[self view] addSubview:imageScrollView]; The issue I am having is that this UIScrollView object extends beneath my tab bar controller. So I have had to reduce its insets manually: #define TAB_BAR_HEIGHT 48 . . UIEdgeInsets edgeInsets = UIEdgeInsetsMake(0, 0, TAB_BAR_HEIGHT, 0); [imageScrollView setScrollIndicatorInsets:edgeInsets]; So, Is it common to have to manually deduct the tab bar height from a view (whether this be by reducing the size of subviews or the View NIB in inspector)? Is there a way that I can tell a NIB's view loaded from a tab bar to resize itself automatically to NOT sit behind the tab bar? Cheers

I have a button in the parent document that says "Delete selected", and I'd like to be able to click this button and populate a hidden field in my parent page with the values of the selected checkboxes in the child iframe. My checkboxes look like this: <input id="Checkbox1" type="checkbox" value="47" title="Select this row" name="selectItem"/> I have an instance of jquery on my parent page so I can make use of jquery selectors, I just have no clue as to the syntax needed to do this.   • Android: scaling a button with a background image.

    I'm probably just being daft but my Google searches are not working out well. I have a bunch of buttons i add in code that all have dynamic text. I've set a background image for each of these buttons since the default greybutton doesn't work well for my application. This works perfectly and when the text size (or content) changes, the button automatically grows to accommodate the expanded text. What doesn't work is that I'd like the button to scale proportionally - i.e. if the background image is round, i'd like it to stay round rather than oval as the button gets bigger. With an imagebutton, there is a property "Adjust view bounds" that does exactly this but I cant put text on an imagebutton. Is there something equivalent for a regular button? or am I going about this wrong? i also tried setting the width of the button in code, but I can't seem to determine the new height (button.getHeight() returns 0)

    I just came up with this, it seems to work in all modern browsers, I just tested it then on (IE8/compatibility, Chrome, Safari, Moz) HTML <img id="my_image" alt="my text" src="images/small_transparent.gif" /> CSS #my_image{ background-image:url('images/my_image.png'); width:100px; height:100px;} Pro's: image alt text is best-practice for accessibility/seo no extra HTML markup, and the css is pretty minimal too gets around the css on/images off issue where "text-indent" techniques hide text from low bandwidth users The biggest disadvantage that I can think of is the css off/images on situation, because you'll only send a transparent gif. I'd like to know, who uses images without stylesheets? some kind of mobile phone or something? I'm making some sites for clients in regional Australia (hundreds of km from the nearest city), where many users will be suffering from dial-up connections, and often outdated browsers too, so the "images off" issue is an important consideration. are there any other side effects with this technique that I haven't considered?

  • How do I register multiple paths for a HttpHandler in IIS7?

    I have a HttpHandler that resizes images based on the querystring, so requesting something like: http://server/image.jpg?width=320&height=240 will give you a resized image that's 320x240. In the IIS Manager, under Handler Mappings, I mapped my handler's path as *.jpg,*.gif,*.bmp,*.png. However, this doesn't activate the handler. If I change it to just *.jpg, then it works. My question is, do I have to create 4 separate mapping entries, one for each image type, or is there some way to combine multiple extensions in one path?

    Hi all, In my application, I want to detect the end of the entire table with scrollview. Since there're no sections in my scrollview, I'm using noOfRows*rowHeight to reach the end. I'm using scrollview.contentOffset.y to detect the y offset, but this contentOffset isn't matching the multiplication result i.e. I have 20 rows and with height as 250. So it comes as 5000, but my scrollview.offset.y at the end of last cell is nearly about 4650. What's this difference? Thanx in advance.
