  • Anyone know a working CSS selector hack that works in recent Safari but not chrome ?

    The title sums it up. I'll get this out of the way and say I am aware that css hacks are dirty ugly horrible things. Sometimes dirty problems call for dirty solutions though :) So does anyone know of a css selector hack that works for recent safari versions but is not a general webkit hack ? My site behaves properly in chrome but has a bug in safari. So if anyone knows how i can select an element to only have a certain style in safari let me know!

  • Add effects to datagrid invalidate

    Is it possible to add an effect to a datagrid when I call invalidatelist to update the data? If it can be done, can the effects be selectively applied to only certain cells in the grid? The grid is showing an array with some nested array in it. I'm using an int counter to keep track of the nested array element position. When the counter is advanced, I tell the grid to update using invalidatelist.

    Hi, if I put a custom class in session, then in an action method I get an instance of that class from session, and populate some fields, I noticed that when a different controller gets that class from session, those fields are populated. Even though after the first call didn't save the updated class back in session. is this typical behavior for session objects? I thought I had to use keyword 'static' on the class in session for this to happen thanks

Trivial example code that demonstrates the issue: (set! *warn-on-reflection* true) (defn foo [#^Integer x] (+ 3 x)) (.equals (foo 2) (foo 2)) => Reflection warning, NO_SOURCE_PATH:10 - call to equals can't be resolved. true What is the best way to solve this?     I seem to recall that Loader.unload() could once be used to stop loading a swf before it had finished loading. I can no longer find documentation or the blog where I read this. Perhaps it was an unofficial feature. Anyhow, IModuleInfo, returned by ModuleManager.getModule() has an unload() method. If I want to halt loading a Flex Module that is in progress, do I just call iModuleInfo_instance.unload()?

  • Windows Mobile Sounds Not using Device Speaker

    I have bunch of Symbol MC 70 devices. They run Windows Mobile 5. Most of these work just fine, but I have one that is sending the sounds (alarms and such) to the phone rather than the speaker on the device. (The sounds play in the speaker used for listening to a phone call) Does anyone know how to route this back to the actual phone speaker?

    Hi, In C++, there is a fwrite() which writes a buffer to a file on disk: http://www.cplusplus.com/reference/clibrary/cstdio/fwrite/ Can you please tell me if there is any buffer inside that fwrite implementation? i.e. if I call fwrite() multiple times (say 10 times), does it actually invoke file i/o 10 different times?
