    Hiya. i really hope this question suites serverfault, if not my apologies! I have an ip address, is there a way to find the web hosting service that this ip address belongs to ? I tried using whois and traceroute but no luck so far. the case is that my friend bought a domain and storage several years ago and he can't remember where he bought the storage from. thanks!

    I have a system that receives files from clients using svn, and we keep track of revision ID in one of our databases. every year we clear the svn repo, and create new repo as it gets very large size. now how can i preserve the revision id when i create new repo. in other words my repo for this year will reach 20000 revisions. how can i start my new repo from revision id 20001.     Possible Duplicate: Mount ext2/ext3 in Mac OS X Snow Leopard I have a 1tb hard drive, I want it to have one partition that can serve as an interchange between linux (ubuntu) and mac (snow leopard). HFS+ scares me a bit, and I can't seem to get a clear picture on whether or not something like fuse can reliably write ext3 partitions in mac. Any good advice on this topic? Should I just pick HFS+ or ext3 and hope for the best (or just deal with only getting read-only on one OS)?

    Hi, Not sure whether this question belongs here, I hope so. I have just bought a motherboard and CPU. I have installed the CPU, cooler and connected to CPUFAN on the MB. I have plugged the power supply to MB and the cable from "ON" button to pins named "PWR" and the LEDs. However when I turn on the PC, both HDD and POWER leds are continously on and the PC cannot be turned out. What could I be missing?

    I am getting the UNMOUNTABLE BOOT VOLUME error on my Samsung laptop which does not have a CD Rom drive. I tried to merge the C and D partitions to get more space but since then the laptop does not start up anymore. I dont care about the laptop, just about some pictures on there which I did not back up yet. I really hope someone can help me?!! I am a new user, so cant post pictures, but can send a screenshot if needed.

    This is my first question to "superuser", hope you guys help me. I have Windows server 2008 R2 Enterprise installed in my system, by mistake I clicked the "Compress disk" of my C drive. Now when I am restarting, I met a message at start up that "BootMGR is compressed, Press Ctrl + Alt + Del to restart" Its been 2 days I am searching every where to solve the problem, but all I found only for Vista and windows 7 only. I have a client from whom I have developed a PHP based Facebook project, who is hosting their site on IIS with ASP and no access to PHP, so they have created a sub domain to point to my server to host the site. I have an SSL on www.mydomain.com, but their sub domain does not have SSL (app.theirdomain.com). Would redirection from their side be possible to SSL on my side so that the FB app works?

If those shortcuts were already there, how can I know them?     Is there a way to Find highlighted text that ONLY begins with a open square bracket? I've tried using the square bracket as a wildcard, but it won't find any adjoining words. For example, I have a document containing conditional paragraphs, in squared brackets, with the "name" of the paragraph highlighted at the beginning: "[Document to return Thank you for sending the documents requested earlier.]" (the section in bold is highlighted in blue in Word) Is there a way to find "[Document to return"?     I have some problems with my iphone 5s that would like to state here hope to get the sultions for them: 1- My iOS version was 7.0.2 and I installed some good apps on it, then I updated my iOS to version 7.0.3. I'm trying to redirect a client in my router through my desktop PC, so i can dump the traffic and analyze it (its potential source of poisoning the network with malicious packets). However i don't have a second NIC on my hands and i was hoping i can redirect all the traffic from that IP through my PC. In essence to become MITM for the client.     I learned how to change the size of hints by modifying fields in the :highlight Hint CSS. I made the hint numbers a big bigger, and as a result they overlap with the hints they're hinting to. (I'd love to post a picture but apparently I'm not entitled to that luxury yet, so I hope I'm clear enough...) How can I introduce an offset or some other sort of buffer between the hints and the links themselves?
