• microsoft local report page width problem when table column hide

  I create some dynamic report. by default, create a table with all available field and hidden by expression, therefore column hide when user want (by checkbox in aspx page) problem: my report is "right to left" therefore when hiding some column, report must shown from right, but as you know, when report render, it create table column from left, my question is how to render report from right ???? for solving this problem i create some column without data and set hidden expression != main column hidden state, therefore my problem solved but found another problem, report width!!! because page width really must 8.5in but when hiding some column, page Width not decrease and remain 15in!!! how to solve this problem ??? • Accessing PerSession service simultaneously in WCF using C#

  1.) I have a main method Processing, which takes string as an arguments and that string contains some x number of tasks. 2.) I have another method Status, which keeps track of first method by using two variables TotalTests and CurrentTest. which will be modified every time with in a loop in first method(Processing). 3.) When more than one client makes a call parallely to my web service to call the Processing method by passing a string, which has different tasks will take more time to process. so in the mean while clients will be using a second thread to call the Status method in the webservice to get the status of the first method. 4.) when point number 3 is being done all the clients are supposed to get the variables(TotalTests,CurrentTest) parallely with out being mixed up with other client requests. 5.) The code that i have provided below is getting mixed up variables results for all the clients when i make them as static. If i remove static for the variables then clients are just getting all 0's for these 2 variables and i am unable to fix it. Please take a look at the below code.   Dear all, I have a piece of code like this: Class Program { static StreamReader sr = null; static int var=0; static Program() { sr = new StreamReader("input.txt") } ~Program() { sr.Dispose(); } static void main(string args[]) { //do something with input here } } This may not be a good practice, but I just want to use this example to ask how the deconstructor and GC works. My question is: Will ~Program() get called at a non-determined time or it won't be called at all in this case. If the deconstructor won't get called, then how GC collect the unmanaged resources and managed resources. Thank you very much!

  Instead of serving my Sass files from the default 'views' directory I'd like to change this to /assets/sass The following attempts are in my main ruby root file in the app: Attempt 1 set :sass, Proc.new { File.join(root, "assets/sass") } get '/stylesheet.css' do sass :core end With this I get the following error: myapp.rb:17 NoMethodError: undefined method `merge' for "/Users/x/x/x/mysinatraapp/assets/sass":String Attempt 2 get '/stylesheet.css' do sass :'/assets/sass/core' end Attempt 3 get '/stylesheet.css' do sass :'/assets/sass/core' end Both return the following error: Errno::ENOENT: No such file or directory - ./views/assets/sass/core.sass Attempt 4 get '/stylesheet.css' do sass :'../assets/sass/core' end This works! however, there must be something along the lines of set :sass, Proc.new { File.join(root, "assets/sass") } that sets this up for me?

• reading a string with spaces with sscanf

  For a project I'm trying to read an int and a string from a string. The only problem is sscanf appears to break reading an %s when it sees a space. Is there anyway to get around this limitation? Here's an example of what I'm trying to do: #include<stdio.h> #include<stdlib.h> int main(int argc, char** argv) { int age; char* buffer; buffer = malloc(200 * sizeof(char)); sscanf("19 cool kid", "%d %s", &age, buffer); printf("%s is %d years old\n", buffer, age); return 0; } What it prints is: "cool is 19 years old" where I need "cool kid is 19 years old". Does anyone know how to fix this?

• Pagination links broken - php/jquery

  Hey, I'm still trying to get my pagination links to load properly dynamically. But I can't seem to find a solution to this one problem. vote down star Hi everyone, I am still trying to figure out how to fix my pagination script to work properly. the problem I am having is when I click any of the pagination number links to go the next page, the new content does not load. literally nothing happens and when looking at the console in Firebug, nothing is sent or loaded. I have on the main page 3 links to filter the content and display it. When any of these links are clicked the results are loaded and displayed along with the associated pagination numbers for that specific content. I believe the problem is coming from the sql query in generate_pagination.php (seen below). When I hard code the sql category part it works, but is not dynamic at all. This is why I'm calling $ids=$_GET['ids']; and trying to put that into the category section but then the numbers don't display at all. • Does Safari have a timeout issue?

  I have a website that works fine in Firefox and IE but never finishes loading in Safari 4.0.4. The live website loads a menu then loads a Google map. Using Safari, the Google map never loads. I have a test website on the same server that uses the exact same code for loading a Google map and Safari can load the map (this is the one that won't load on my live web). This test website does not have the menu - only the Google map. In both cases (live and test) the main web page calls a loadmap.js file. I've been pulling everything apart to try to identify why Safari won't finish loading. Has anyone run across any problems/solutions with Safari that may help me find a resolution to this problem?

  I've written a custom view, with the OpenGL_1 technology, in order to let user rotate a red triangle just by dragging it along x axis. (Will give a rotation around Y axis). It works, but there is a bit of latency when dragging from one direction to the other (without releasing the mouse/finger). So it seems that my code is not yet "goal perfect". (I am convinced that no code is perfect in itself). I thought of using a quaternion, but maybe it won't be so usefull : must I really use a Quaternion (or a kind of Matrix) ?   Hi. I'm running a lexical analyzer using lex, and I've got it mostly correct, but my terminal gives strange output once I take out an ECHO statement I was using to help debug the code. • change Visibility of a control in ASP.NET code behind (c#)

  How do you set the visibility of a (fileupload) control from ASP.net code (I need to hide a fileupload control in a webuser control from server site, otherwise hasFIle is always false). Also setting the "Visible" property to false does not work (as is confuses the AJAX panel so the fileupload forgets that it has a file). theFileUpload.Visible = false = does not work so I want to try to set the CSS style visibility to hidden or display to none. The main problem is I want to do it from the server side (I know how I could do it on client). Is there a safe way to overwrite theFileUpload.Attributes["styles"] in case I modify other CSS styles in there, also throwing a whole CSS class at it (by moidifying the CSSClass property) seems like overkill. thanks in advance Axel

  I cant get my wifi card to work at all after upgrading to 11.10 Oneiric. I'm not sure where to start to fix this. Ive tried using the additional drivers tool but this shows that no additional drivers are needed. Before my upgrade I had a drivers working for the Rt2860 chipset.   I understand that floating point arithmetic as performed in modern computer systems is not always consistent with real arithmetic. I am trying to contrive a small C# program to demonstrate this. eg: static void Main(string[] args) { double x = 0, y = 0; x += 20013.8; x += 20012.7; y += 10016.4; y += 30010.1; Console.WriteLine("Result: "+ x + " " + y + " " + (x==y)); Console.Write("Press any key to continue . . . "); Console.ReadKey(true); } However, in this case, x and y are equal in the end. Is it possible for me to demonstrate the inconsistency of floating point arithmetic using a program of similar complexity, and without using any really crazy numbers? I would like, if possible, to avoid mathematically correct values that go more than a few places beyond the decimal point.

  My application has a view controller that extends UITableViewController. The initialization method looks like this: - (id)initWithCoder:(NSCoder*)coder { if (self = [super initWithCoder:coder]) { self.tableView = [[UITableView alloc] initWithFrame:self.tableView.frame style:UITableViewStyleGrouped]; } return self; } When the view is initially loaded, it's displayed as UITableViewStyleGrouped. However, if my app ever receives a low memory warning, the above view changes to UITableViewStylePlain. There is no associated xib file with the View/Controller. The viewDidUnload and didReceiveMemoryWarning methods are straightforward: - (void)didReceiveMemoryWarning { // Releases the view if it doesn't have a superview. I currently have in my C. #include ruby.h main() { ruby_init(); rb_require("myRubyFile"); rb_funcall(rb_module_new(), rb_intern("RubyFunction"), 0, NULL); } My ruby file is in the same directory as my c file and is called myRubyFile.rb and contains a definition of the function RubyFunction(). This is a cut down of what I actually want to do, just making it more readable for others. I just require some feedback as to whether this is the correct method to call ruby code from my c file.   I want to create a continuous build integration system for .NET using just Windows batch files and Visual Source Safe. I've come up with the following batch file so far - set ssdir=\\xxxx\vss cd d:\mydir "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual SourceSafe\ss.exe" diff "$/sourcedir" -R -Q > diffout.txt This will spit out a file containg lines like "SourceSafe files different from local files" when a change has been made. My challenge is to figure out if those lines are in the file, then do a get and kick off MSBuild if they are. I'd then schedule the batch file to run every 10 minutes or so. Anyone got any thoughts on how to do that? Or any other ways of doing continuous build integration without downloading a complicated build automation system? Update: Happy to use cscript or powershell too, though not really familiar with those environments. My main aim is to avoid installing 3rd party software

• Prevent IE users from visiting my site?

  Internet Explorer has caused me a lot of trouble over the years, between security problems, memory leaks, endless CSS and JavaScript hacks to get my site to look correct, and inconsistencies between releases, I've spent countless hours as the hapless victim of IE's idiosyncrasies. Well that ends today, I've decided to take matters into my own hands and ban all users of IE from visiting my website. That will teach them to use such a cruddy browser. My question is how best to do this? I don't want to rely on JavaScript, which could be disabled, nor the request agent string, which could be tampered with. A clever user could even temporarily switch to Firefox or Chrome just to visit my site. Ideally, I'd have a list of the IP addresses of every IE user in the world and restrict based on the IP address. The main problem I'm having, aside from getting the list in the first place, is how do I keep it updated? Thanks!

  Just moved to Grails 1.2.1 (used 1.1.1 before). Changed application.properties, ran grails upgrade, fixed BuildConfig and Bootstrap - everything works just fine from grails console. However, getting a problem when deploy packaged war under jetty 6.1.22: 1581 [main] ERROR org.springframework.web.context.ContextLoader - Context initialization failed org.springframework.beans.factory.access.BootstrapException: Error executing bootstraps; nested exception is java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: org.codehaus.groovy.grails.commons.spring.ReloadAwareAutowireCapableBeanFactory.setParameterNameDiscoverer(Lorg/springframework/core/ParameterNameDiscoverer;)V My project is built with maven2. I researched the war dependencies and see that both spring 2.5.6 and 3.0.0.RELEASE are used there.
