  • web.config transforms not being applied on either publish or build installation package

    Today I started playing with the web.config transforms in VS 2010. To begin with, I attempted the same hello world example that features in a lot of the blog posts on this topic - updating a connection string. I created the minimal example shown below (and similar to the one found in this blog). The problem is that whenever I do a right-click - "Publish", or a right-click - "Build Deployment Package" on the .csproj file, I'm not getting the correct output. Rather than a transformed web.config, I'm getting no web.config, and instead the two transform files are included. What am I doing wrong? Any help gratefully received!   • Any chance to get Core Data using Tokyo Cabinet as the persistent store?

    I watched a free high quality video with Aaron Hillegass about Core Data vs Tokyo Cabinet. Besides that this guy is amazingly funny (really, if you want to laugh now, watch it!), he shows off Tokyo Cabinet beeing about 40x faster than Core Data. I wonder if it's worth thinking about how to attach this to Core Data? Does that make any sense? Maybe as a custom atomic store or something like this?

What Id like is some help or links as I want one that can have -always lit up light points -collision (If the light ray hits a block, then dim the next block by whatever amount until its dark) Im a noob at this stuff, but ive been searching around for quite a while but no luck (I did find Catalin's tutorial, but it seemed abit advanced for me)

  • Can i openly speculate based on App rejection that the iPad has xxx MB of memory?

    If i were to calculate the iPad's amount of RAM based on just the one fact that my iPad App got rejected due to memory warnings twice, and me fixing it, would this violate the developer NDA? Obviously i know how much memory my App uses, how much the iPhone OS is likely to use and estimate the amount reserved for video memory, then i can deduct from that that the iPad has xxx MB of memory. I just wonder if i can say that number publicly without violating any NDA?

I want to load a page and display tags under a video and then when a user adds a new tag by entering it into text box to add it to the database and then refresh the part of the page which shows these tags and include the new one which has just been added all without the page being reloaded.
