• Can I install an old package for Ubuntu Intrepid on Ubuntu Karmic?

The only WMI client I've found is compatible with Intrepid 8.10, whereas my server is currently running Karmic 9.10. For each new instance, I install the following softwares: etckeeper which keeps tracks of every changes in /etc shorewall to have a simple setup for firewall rsnapshot which keep incremental backup of important directories cron-apt takes charge of update of the system (or, in my case, send me an email to warn me about new updates) But I was wondering if you administrators have any other wonderful tools for daily management. I'm not talking about remote management (like cfengine) but little tools which help to manage a small number of Linux servers.

  I have an external hard disk where I have created many partitions to use also in Linux. First two partitions are FAT32. The third is a Truecrypt partition. I cannot assign a letter to the second partition. When I go to Manage disk and right-click on the unassigned partition, most of the options are not enabled. What have I to do to see this partition on my XP PC?

• How can I add a comment when I decline an invite in iCal or Apple Mail?

  I'm using iCal to manage my calendar on an Exchange server. In outlook, when I accepted or declined a meeting, I was able to add a comment telling the sender why I couldn't make the meeting. With iCal, it just rudely declines the meeting with no ability to add a comment. Am I missing something?

It seems like having a non-passworded root on my server's hostname is retarded but I don't know what I'm doing with this in general.   I'm running windows 8.1 on Parallels 9 on Mac OS X 10.9.3 Mavericks. Before that I used to have VMWare and I could manage to install Intel Iris drivers for OpenCL SDK. Is there a built-in Web Interface for managing Shares, or a free one available - for use in Server 2003 (or 2008)?   Hi, I finally manage to get mail working with ehcp on an ubuntu server. I can get and send email from the webmail, but I can't seems to be able to access the pop3. For instance, when I look at my Inbox in the morning, I open all emails which I need to respond to, and throughout the day read, respond to and close each one. • Enabling RSA Toolbar in IE8

  OS - Win7 Utlimate 64 bit I have installed the RSA security toolbar used to VPN into my corporate network. I can see that RSA Toolbar is enabled in the Manage Add-Ons window. However I do not see the toolbar when I right-click in the toolbar section in IE. The add-on manger says that the toolbar is loaded but I cant get it to show in the toolbars section Any ideas? TIA
