• Facebook connect on Google App Engine with Django Patch

  We are building a website on Google App Engine, using django patch. We would like to use Facebook connect for two purposes: Authenticate users. Access user's social data. Searching for a solution in the usual places (google, FB, SO) brigs up a lot of noise, many partial solutions and no clear answer. So the question is this: does anyone has a clear working solution? maybe even a recipe? Thanks.

• New to Android - Drawing a view at runtime

  HI all, I'm just getting started with developing for Android. I'm looking to port one of my iPhone applications, but I'm kind of at a loss for how to draw a view at runtime (a view not declared in the XML). Basically, I want to draw a simple rectangle, but then be able to manipulate its frame after being drawn. Sorry if this is a really, really simple question, but I can't seem to find some equivalent to the iPhone SDK here. Thanks in advance!

  I'm using the Post/Redirect/Get pattern on a form of mine. I've never used this approach before and I'm trying to figure something out: Normally, I always just displayed the posted form again when there were validation errors and displayed POST values in the form (sticky form). However with the PRG pattern, the form is displayed after a redirect, so there aren't any POST values. So my question is, how can I implement the PRG pattern and still have sticky forms?

I know that there is difference in operators precedence (&& goes before 'and'), but with given framework (prestashop to be precise) is clearly not a reason.   Hello, Im using Collections.sort() to sort a LinkedList whose elements implements Comparable interface, so they are sorted in a natural order. In the javadoc documentation its said this method uses mergesort algorithm wich has n*log(n) performance. My question is if there is a more efficient algorithm to sort my LinkedList? The size of that list could be very high and sort will be also very frequent. Thanks!

  Hi, This is a hypothetical question. If one would develop an iPhone/iPad (Universal) odds application, whould apple allow this to the appstore? This application would not let you bet on odds directly, but would collect odds from different odds sites and show them to the user.   Using iis7, windows 7, asp.net 3.5. I have in my hosts file 127.0.0.1 mysite ::1 mysite I forgot why I added the ::1, but I think it was important. Anyone know what the second line is for? Thanks in advance. Edit One more question. What happens if I leave it out? The web site I'm working on doesn't address via IPv6, at least, not that I know of.

So my question is, using iTextSharp, is there a fairly concise way to append one PDF document to another one? Optimally this would NOT involve a third file. Just open the first PDF doc, append the second PDF doc to the first and then close them both.

When I click the program button(it´s a tag), it´s ok, it´s shows the table on the div´s.   I installed Python Mock module using PIP. When I try to import mock running under 'dev_appserver', GAE says that it can't find module 'mock'. import mock works perfectly in Python interpreter. I understand that dev_appserver behaves absolutely correctly because I can't install modules with PIP on GAE servers. My question is how technically dev_appserver filters list of modules that can be loaded?
