  • First test of a Windows Phone application

    - by Maurizio Reginelli
    I downloaded the Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Express for Windows Phone and I wrote a simple application to make a first test of the emulator. In this application I have only a button with the property Content binded to a string called ButtonText and with the property Background binded to a SolidColorBrush named FillColor. I handled the Click event with this code: void MyButton_Click(object sender, RoutedEventArgs e) { if (toggle == true) { ButtonText = "Blue"; FillColor = new SolidColorBrush(Colors.Blue); } else { ButtonText = "Red"; FillColor = new SolidColorBrush(Colors.Red); } toggle = !toggle; } Unfortunately this doesn't work. While the Content of the Button changes each time the button is pressed, I cannot say the same for the Background which remains at the same color. Could you tell me what is wrong? Thank you. I also post the XAML: <Grid x:Name="ContentGrid" Grid.Row="1"> <Button Name="MyButton" Width="300" Height="300" Content="{Binding Path=ButtonText}" Background="{Binding Path=FillColor}" /> </Grid>

  • How do I fully reload my Sencha Touch App when tapping 'refresh'?

    - by torr
    My list view layout is similar to Pinterest, with absolutely positioned blocks. Unfortunately, this seems to require a full re-initialization at refresh. If reload only the store (as below) the new blocks are incorrectly positioned. How do I reload the app when the user clicks on refresh? This is my View: Ext.require(['Ext.data.Store', 'MyApp.model.StreamModel'], function() { Ext.define('MyApp.view.HomeView', { extend: 'Ext.navigation.View', xtype: 'homepanel', requires: [ 'Ext.dataview.List', ], config: { title: 'Home', iconCls: 'home', styleHtmlContent: true, navigationBar: { items: [ { xtype: 'button', iconMask: true, iconCls: 'refresh', align: 'left', action: 'refreshButton' } ] }, items: { title: 'My', xtype: 'list', itemTpl: [ '<div class="post">', ... '</div>' ].join(''), store: new Ext.data.Store({ model: 'MyApp.model.StreamModel', autoLoad: true, storeId: 'stream' }), } } }); }); Model: Ext.define('MyApp.model.StreamModel', { extend: 'Ext.data.Model', config: { fields: [ 'post_id', 'comments' ], proxy: { type: 'jsonp', url: 'http://My.com/app', reader: { type: 'json', } } } }); and my Controller: Ext.define('MyApp.controller.RefreshController', { extend: 'Ext.app.Controller', requires: [ 'Ext.navigation.View' ], config: { control: { 'button[action=refreshButton]': { tap: 'refresh' } } }, refresh: function() { // Ext.StoreMgr.get('stream').load(); // here I'd like to reload the app instead // not just the store } });

  • jQuery .trigger() or $(window) not working in Google Chrome

    - by Jonathan
    I have this jQuery ajax navigation tabs plugin that I created using some help from CSS-Tricks.com and the jQuery hashchange event plugin (detects hash changes in browsers that don't support it). The code is little long to post it here but it goes something like this: Part 1) When a tab is clicked, it gets the href attribute of that tab and add it to the browsers navigation bar like '#tab_name': window.location.hash = $(this).attr("href"); Part 2) When the navigation bar changes (hash change), it gets the href change like this: window.location.hash.substring(1); (substring is to get only 'tab_name' without the '#'), and then call the ajax function to get the info to display. I want to automatically trigger the plugin to load the first tab when the page is accessed, so at the start of the code I put: if (window.location.hash === '') { // If no '#' is in the browser navigation bar window.location.hash = '#tab_1'; // Add #tab_1 to the navigation bar $(window).trigger('hashchange'); // Trigger a hashchange so 'Part 2' of the plugin calls the ajax function using the '#tab_1' added } The probles is that it works in FF but not in Chrome, I mean, everything works but it seems like the $(window).trigger('hashchange'); is not working because it doesnt get the first tab.. Any suggestions??

  • How to append \line into RTF using RichTextBox control

    - by Steve Sheldon
    When using the Microsoft RichTextBox control it is possible to add new lines like this... richtextbox.AppendText(System.Environment.NewLine); // appends \r\n However, if you now view the generated rtf the \r\n characters are converted to \par not \line How do I insert a \line control code into the generated RTF? What does't work: Token Replacement Hacks like inserting a token at the end of the string and then replacing it after the fact, so something like this: string text = "my text"; text = text.Replace("||" "|"); // replace any '|' chars with a double '||' so they aren't confused in the output. text = text.Replace("\r\n", "_|0|_"); // replace \r\n with a placeholder of |0| richtextbox.AppendText(text); string rtf = richtextbox.Rtf; rtf.Replace("_|0|_", "\\line"); // replace placeholder with \line rtf.Replace("||", "|"); // set back any || chars to | This almost worked, it breaks down if you have to support right to left text as the right to left control sequence always ends up in the middle of the placeholder. Sending Key Messages public void AppendNewLine() { Keys[] keys = new Keys[] {Keys.Shift, Keys.Return}; SendKeys(keys); } private void SendKeys(Keys[] keys) { foreach(Keys key in keys) { SendKeyDown(key); } } private void SendKeyDown(Keys key) { user32.SendMessage(this.Handle, Messages.WM_KEYDOWN, (int)key, 0); } private void SendKeyUp(Keys key) { user32.SendMessage(this.Handle, Messages.WM_KEYUP, (int)key, 0); } This also ends up being converted to a \par Is there a way to post a messaged directly to the msftedit control to insert a control character? I am totally stumped, any ideas guys? Thanks for your help!

  • Cannot clear the form after Submit using the Validation plugin in jQuery

    - by novellino
    Hello, I an quite new to jQuery and I have a problem while trying to create a form. I am using the Validation plugin for validate the email (one the form's field). When I click the Submit button I want to call my own function because I want to save the data in an XML file. This is my button: (as I understood the plugin uses "submit" for understand the button) <input type="submit" name="submit" class="submit" id="submit_btn" value="Send"/> and here is the script for the validation: <script type="text/javascript"> $(document).ready(function() { //this is my form $("#contactForm").validate(); /*save the valid data in the xml*/ $(".submit").click(function() { var email = $("input#email").val(); var subject = $("input#subject").val(); var message = $("textarea#message").val(); if (email == "" || !$("#contactForm").valid()) { return false; } var dataString = 'email='+ email + '&subject=' + subject + '&message=' + message; //alert("DATA: " +dataString); $.ajax({ type: "POST", url: "SaveData.jsp", data: dataString, success: function(data){} }); return false; }); }); </script> In general it works ok but I have two basic problems. When I click the button in the beginning having all the form empty, I get no message for the field required. Also when the data are valid and I am doing the submit, the form does not become clear after the submit. If I deleted this script code, these actions are working properly but I can not save the data! Does anyone know what is wrong? Thanks a lot!

  • unable to get values from JSON converted from XML

    - by Dkong
    I have passed some JSON to my page via a webservice. I used JSON.NET to convert XML to JSON. The JSON output looks ok to me, but I am unable to access some of the items in the response. I am not sure why it is not working. I am using jQuery to read the response and make the webservice call. Even when I try to read the length of the array it says 'undefined' function GetFeed(){ document.getElementById("marq").innerHTML = ''; $.ajax({ type: "POST", url: "ticker.asmx/GetStockTicker", data: "{}", contentType: "application/json; charset=utf-8", dataType: "json", success: function(response) { var obj = (typeof response.d) == 'string' ? eval('(' + response.d + ')') : response.d; for (var i = 0; i < obj.length; i++) { $('#marq').html(obj[i].person); } } }); } This is a copy and paste of my response as it appeared in firebug: {"d":"{\"?xml\":{\"@version\":\"1.0\",\"@standalone\":\"no\"},\"root\":{\"person\":[{\"@id\":\"1\",\"name\":\"Alan\",\"url\":\"http://www.google.com\"},{\"@id\":\"2\",\"name\":\"Louis\",\"url\":\"http://www.yahoo.com\"}]}}"}

  • jQuery AJAX: How to pass large HTML tags as parameters?

    - by marknt15
    Hello, How can I pass a large HTML tag data to my PHP using jQuery AJAX? When I'm receiving the result it is wrong. Thanks in advance. Cheers, Mark jQuery AJAX code: $('#saveButton').click(function() { // do AJAX and store tree structure to a PHP array (to be saved later in database) var treeInnerHTML = $("#demo_1").html(); alert(treeInnerHTML); var ajax_url = 'ajax_process.php'; var params = 'tree_contents=' + treeInnerHTML; $.ajax({ type: 'POST', url: ajax_url, data: params, success: function(data) { $("#show_tree").html(data); }, error: function(req, status, error) { } }); }); treeInnerHTML actual value: <ul class="ltr"> <li id="phtml_1" class="open"><a href="#"><ins>&nbsp;</ins>Root node 1</a> <ul> <li class="leaf" id="phtml_2"><a href="#"><ins>&nbsp;</ins>Child node 1</a></li> <li class="last leaf" id="phtml_3"><a href="#"><ins>&nbsp;</ins>Child node 2</a></li> </ul> </li> <li id="phtml_5" class="file last leaf"><a href="#"><ins>&nbsp;</ins>Root node 2</a></li> </ul> Returned result from my show_tree div: <ul class="\&quot;ltr\&quot;"> <li id="\&quot;phtml_1\&quot;" class="\&quot;open\&quot;"><a href="%5C%22#%5C%22"><ins></ins></a></li></ul>

  • Counting string length in javascript and Ruby on Rails

    - by williamjones
    I've got a text area on a web site that should be limited in length. I'm allowing users to enter 255 characters, and am enforcing that limit with a Rails validation: validates_length_of :body, :maximum => 255 At the same time, I added a javascript char counter like you see on Twitter, to give feedback to the user on how many characters he has already used, and to disable the submit button when over length, and am getting that length in Javascript with a call like this: element.length Lastly, to enforce data integrity, in my Postgres database, I have created this field as a varchar(255) as a last line of defense. Unfortunately, these methods of counting characters do not appear to be directly compatible. Javascript counts the best, in that it counts what users consider as number of characters where everything is a single character. Once the submission hits Rails, however, all of the carriage returns have been converted to \r\n, now taking up 2 characters worth of space, which makes a close call fail Rails validations. Even if I were to handcode a different length validation in Rails, it would still fail when it hits the database I think, though I haven't confirmed this yet. What's the best way for me to make all this work the way the user would want? Best Solution: an approach that would enable me to meet user expectations, where each character of any type is only one character. If this means increasing the length of the varchar database field, a user should not be able to sneakily send a hand-crafted post that creates a row with more than 255 letters. Somewhat Acceptable Solution: a javascript change that enables the user to see the real character count, such that hitting return increments the counter 2 characters at a time, while properly handling all symbols that might have these strange behaviors.

  • python tkinter gui

    - by Lewis Townsend
    I'm wanting to make a small python program for yearly temperatures. I can get nearly everything working in the standard console but I'm wanting to implement it into a GUI. The program opens a csv file reads it into lists, works out the average, and min & max temps. Then on closing the application will save a summary to a new text file. I am wanting the default start up screen to show All Years. When a button is clicked it just shows that year's data. Here is a what I want it to look like. Pretty simple layout with just the 5 buttons and the out puts for each. I can make up the buttons for the top fine with: Code: class App: def __init__(self, master): frame = Frame(master) frame.pack() self.hi_there = Button(frame, text="All Years", command=self.All) self.hi_there.pack(side=LEFT) self.hi_there = Button(frame, text="2011", command=self.Y1) self.hi_there.pack(side=LEFT) self.hi_there = Button(frame, text="2012", command=self.Y2) self.hi_there.pack(side=LEFT) self.hi_there = Button(frame, text="2013", command=self.Y3) self.hi_there.pack(side=LEFT) self.hi_there = Button(frame, text="Save & Exit", command=self.Exit) self.hi_there.pack(side=LEFT) I'm not sure as to how to make the other elements, such as the title & table. I was going to post the code of the small program but decided not to. Once I have the structure/framework I think I can populate the fields & I might learn better this way. Using Python 2.7.3

  • Find Adjacent Nodes A Star Path-Finding C++

    - by Infinity James
    Is there a better way to handle my FindAdjacent() function for my A Star algorithm? It's awfully messy, and it doesn't set the parent node correctly. When it tries to find the path, it loops infinitely because the parent of the node has a pent of the node and the parents are always each other. Any help would be amazing. This is my function: void AStarImpl::FindAdjacent(Node* pNode) { for (int i = -1; i <= 1; i++) { for (int j = -1; j <= 1; j++) { if (pNode->mX != Map::GetInstance()->mMap[pNode->mX + i][pNode->mY + j].mX || pNode->mY != Map::GetInstance()->mMap[pNode->mX + i][pNode->mY + j].mY) { if (pNode->mX + i <= 14 && pNode->mY + j <= 14) { if (pNode->mX + i >= 0 && pNode->mY + j >= 0) { if (Map::GetInstance()->mMap[pNode->mX + i][pNode->mY + j].mTypeID != NODE_TYPE_SOLID) { if (find(mOpenList.begin(), mOpenList.end(), &Map::GetInstance()->mMap[pNode->mX + i][pNode->mY + j]) == mOpenList.end()) { Map::GetInstance()->mMap[pNode->mX+i][pNode->mY+j].mParent = &Map::GetInstance()->mMap[pNode->mX][pNode->mY]; mOpenList.push_back(&Map::GetInstance()->mMap[pNode->mX+i][pNode->mY+j]); } } } } } } } mClosedList.push_back(&Map::GetInstance()->mMap[pNode->mX][pNode->mY]); } If you'd like any more code, just ask and I can post it.

  • PHP GD imagecreatefromstring discards transparency

    - by meustrus
    I've been trying to get transparency to work with my application (which dynamically resizes images before storing them) and I think I've finally narrowed down the problem after much misdirection about imagealphablending and imagesavealpha. The source image is never loaded with proper transparency! // With this line, the output image has no transparency (where it should be // transparent, colors bleed out randomly or it's completely black, depending // on the image) $img = imagecreatefromstring($fileData); // With this line, it works as expected. $img = imagecreatefrompng($fileName); // Blah blah blah, lots of image resize code into $img2 goes here; I finally // tried just outputting $img instead. header('Content-Type: image/png'); imagealphablending($img, FALSE); imagesavealpha($img, TRUE); imagepng($img); imagedestroy($img); It would be some serious architectural difficulty to load the image from a file; this code is being used with a JSON API that gets queried from an iPhone app, and it's easier in this case (and more consistent) to upload images as base64-encoded strings in the POST data. Do I absolutely need to somehow store the image as a file (just so that PHP can load it into memory again)? Is there maybe a way to create a Stream from $fileData that can be passed to imagecreatefrompng?

  • Multiple forms using Rails & jQuery & AJAX

    - by biggie8199
    I have multiple coupons on a page and I'm trying to get comments to work on each coupon. So for each coupon i have a comments form. Im using jQuery + Ajax to accomplish this. Here's what my code looks like. Coupon Page <p>Comments:</p> <% form_for(@comment) do |f| %> <%= f.label :body %><br /><%= f.text_field :body, :size => "24" %> <%= f.hidden_field :coupon_id, :value => coupon.id %> <%= f.submit "Save" %> <% end %> Application.js jQuery.ajaxSetup({ 'beforeSend': function(xhr) {xhr.setRequestHeader("Accept", "text/javascript")} }) jQuery.fn.submitWithAjax = function() { this.submit(function() { $.post(this.action, $(this).serialize(), null, "script"); return false; }) return this; }; $(document).ready(function() { $("#new_comment").submitWithAjax(); }) I tried changing the jQuery selector to a class $(".new_comment").submitWithAjax(); Thinking that would work, now all the submit buttons work, however it posts only the first form on the page. What can I change to make it so ajax submits the correct form and not the first one?

  • Displaying data from a linked table and displaying it as a list with HTML/PHP/MySQL

    - by user1672694
    I have three tables. students studentID | FirstName | LastName | Email | Form course CCode | Title courseenrolement courseenrolementid | studentID | ccode | complete | scode With the website, I have a page where I can view all the current enrolements and I wish to be able to view the list displaying the first name, surname and course title. I know I could do it with the following SQL (for the names): SELECT FirstName, LastName FROM student, courseenrolement WHERE courseenrolement.studentID = student.studentID But I am unsure how to get this to work using HTML/PHP. At present I only know how to display the studentID and CCode from the courseenrolement table using the following code: <ul> <?php foreach ($courseenrolements as $ce): ?> <li> <form action="" method="post"> <div> <?php htmlout($ce['studentID']); ?> <?php htmlout($ce['CCode']); ?> <input type="hidden" name="courseenrolementid" value="<?php echo $ce['courseenrolementid']; ?>"> <input type="submit" name="action" value="Edit"> <input type="submit" name="action" value="Delete"> </div> </form> </li> <?php endforeach; ?> </ul> which displays this: But I would like the names and course title. I managed to get it to show the names etc in the dropdown on the 'Add new' form, so I would assume it will be similar, but just unsure on how exactly. Thanks in advance

  • Creating an mailto: URL with a URL in the body iPhone SDK

    - by Sjakelien
    UPDATE: I just found a similar post here: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/730101/how-do-i-encode-in-a-url-in-an-html-attribute-value Please consider the code below: I try to send an email message from within my iPhone app. The problem I encounter is that I want to put a URL in the body of the email. This URL contains two ampersands. I am encoding all the strings using "stringByAddingPercentEscapesUsingEncoding:NSUTF8StringEncoding", but the URL ends up in my new mail messagd truncated after the first ampersand. IE: "http://www.mydomain.nl/?cm=79&ctime=1246572000&cid=4772" becomes "http://www.mydomain.nl/?cm=79". Any suggestion what I could do to escape? NSString *eMailSubject = @"My Subject"; NSString *encodedSubject = [[NSString alloc] initWithString:[eMailSubject stringByAddingPercentEscapesUsingEncoding:NSUTF8StringEncoding]]; NSString *eMailBody = @"http://www.mydomain.nl?cm=79&ctime=1246572000&cid=4772"; NSString *encodedBody = [[NSString alloc] initWithString:[eMailBody stringByAddingPercentEscapesUsingEncoding:NSUTF8StringEncoding]]; NSString *urlString = [[NSString alloc] initWithString:[NSString stringWithFormat:@"mailto:?subject=%@&body=%@", encodedSubject, encodedBody]]; NSString *encodedURL = [[NSString alloc] initWithString:[urlString stringByAddingPercentEscapesUsingEncoding:NSUTF8StringEncoding]]; NSURL *url = [[NSURL alloc] initWithString:encodedURL]; [[UIApplication sharedApplication] openURL:url];

  • Wordpress/CSS: List Style Problem.

    - by Ben
    Hi all! I am reasonably new to Wordpress custom themes but I do have some knowlege of CSS, although I am terrible at customising other peoples code which is why I have the problem I am about to explain. I have started a website that my girlfriend and I are doing together. It uses the Simplo Wordpress theme which is pretty cool but when you add a post that has a list in it. It doesn't show the bullets on each of the items. I have tried adding 'list-style:circle;' to a the.postItem class and a couple of other divs and classes that I thought were relevant but it doesn't work. You can take a look for yourself, it may be easier to understand my problem that way. If you go to: http://brokeandstarving.com/234/bennos-shepherds-pie/ there is a list of ingredients and also the steps under the method is a list as well. My question is, where do I edit the CSS to make the bullets appear next to the list items? I hope that makes sense. Thanks in advance, - Ben

  • How can I bind a simple Javascript array to an MVC3 controller action method?

    - by Sergio Tapia
    Here is the javascript code I use to create the array and send it on it's way: <script type="text/javascript" language="javascript"> $(document).ready(function () { $("#update-cart-btn").click(function() { var items = []; $(".item").each(function () { var productKey = $(this).find("input[name='item.ProductId']").val(); var productQuantity = $(this).find("input[type='text']").val(); items[productKey] = productQuantity; }); $.ajax({ type: "POST", url: "@Url.Action("UpdateCart", "Cart")", data: items, success: function () { alert("Successfully updated your cart!"); } }); }); }); </script> The items object is properly constructed with the values I need. What data type must my object be on the backend of my controller? I tried this but the variable remains null and is not bound. [Authorize] [HttpPost] public ActionResult UpdateCart(object[] items) // items remains null. { // Some magic here. return RedirectToAction("Index"); }

  • Getting 404 page not found connecting to webDAV

    - by Cragly
    I am trying to connect to a secure webDAV folder and download a file. I am having problems just trying to get a response from the server and as it keeps giving me a 404 page not found error as soon as I call Request.GetResponse(). I can connect to the webDAV folder using Windows Explorer by mapping a drive but cannot seem to do this in code. I have looked at other post on this site and others online but most seem to concentrate on connecting to Outlook. Has anybody else had this issue? The code I am using is as follows: string URI = "https://transfer.mycompany.com/myDirectory/myFile.csv"; string username = "username"; string password = "password"; Request = (HttpWebRequest) WebRequest.Create(URI); Request.Credentials = new NetworkCredential(username, password); Request.Method = WebRequestMethods.Http.Get; Request.Headers.Add("Translate", "f"); Response = (HttpWebResponse) Request.GetResponse(); contentLength = Convert.ToInt64(Response.GetResponseHeader("Content-Length"));

  • capturing CMD batch file parameter list; write to file for later processing

    - by BobB
    I have written a batch file that is launched as a post processing utility by a program. The batch file reads ~24 parameters supplied by the calling program, stores them into variables, and then writes them to various text files. Since the max input variable in CMD is %9, it's necessary to use the 'shift' command to repeatedly read and store these individually to named variables. Because the program outputs several similar batch files, the result is opening several CMD windows sequentially, assigning variables and writing data files. This ties up the calling program for too long. It occurs to me that I could free up the calling program much faster if maybe there's a way to write a very simple batch file that can write all the command parameters to a text file, where I can process them later. Basically, just grab the parameter list, write it and done. Q: Is there some way to treat an entire series of parameter data as one big text string and write it to one big variable... and then echo the whole big thing to one text file? Then later read the string into %n variables when there's no program waiting to resume? Parameter list is something like 25 - 30 words, less than 200 characters. Sample parameter list: "First Name" "Lastname" "123 Steet Name Way" "Cityname" ST 12345 1004968 06/01/2010 "Firstname+Lastname" 101738 "On Account" 20.67 xy-1z 1 8.95 3.00 1.39 0 0 239 8.95 Items in quotes are processed as string variables. List is space delimited. Any suggestions?

Say after the copy is done I want to perform an operation on the copied file.

  • Why do I get empty request from the Jakarta Commons HttpClient?

    - by polyurethan
    I have a problem with the Jakarta Commons HttpClient. Before my self-written HttpServer gets the real request there is one request which is completely empty. That's the first problem. The second problem is, sometimes the request data ends after the third or fourth line of the http request: POST / HTTP/1.1 User-Agent: Jakarta Commons-HttpClient/3.1 Host: 127.0.0.1:4232 For debugging I am using the Axis TCPMonitor. There every things is fine but the empty request. How I process the stream: StringBuffer requestBuffer = new StringBuffer(); InputStreamReader is = new InputStreamReader(socket.getInputStream(), "UTF-8"); int byteIn = -1; do { byteIn = is.read(); if (byteIn > 0) { requestBuffer.append((char) byteIn); } } while (byteIn != -1 && is.ready()); String requestData = requestBuffer.toString(); How I send the request: client.getParams().setSoTimeout(30000); method = new PostMethod(url.getPath()); method.getParams().setContentCharset("utf-8"); method.setRequestHeader("Content-Type", "application/xml; charset=utf-8"); method.addRequestHeader("Connection", "close"); method.setFollowRedirects(false); byte[] requestXml = getRequestXml(); method.setRequestEntity(new InputStreamRequestEntity(new ByteArrayInputStream(requestXml))); client.executeMethod(method); int statusCode = method.getStatusCode(); Have anyone of you an idea how to solve these problems? • Drupal module permissions

    When I run the code with an admin user, the module returns what it should. However, when I run it with a normal user, I get a 403 error. The module returns data from an AJAX call. I've already tried adding a 'access callback' = 'user_access'); line to the exoticlang_chat_logger_menu() function. I'd appreciate any pointers you might have. Thanks for the help The AJAX call: jQuery.ajax({ type: 'POST', url: '/chatlog', success: exoticlangAjaxCompleted, data:'messageLog=' + privateMessageLogJson, dataType: 'json' }); The module code: function exoticlang_chat_logger_init(){ drupal_add_js('misc/jquery.form.js'); drupal_add_library('system', 'drupal.ajax'); } function exoticlang_chat_logger_permission() { return array( 'Save chat data' => array( 'title' => t('Save ExoticLang Chat Data'), 'description' => t('Send private message on chat close') ), ); } /** * Implementation of hook_menu(). */ function exoticlang_chat_logger_menu() { $items = array(); $items['chatlog'] = array( 'type' => MENU_CALLBACK, 'page callback' => 'exoticlang_chat_log_ajax', 'access arguments' => 'Save chat data'); //'access callback' => 'user_access'); return $items; } function exoticlang_chat_logger_ajax(){ $messageLog=stripslashes($_POST['messageLog']); $chatLog= 'Drupal has processed this. Message log is: '.$messageLog; $chatLog=str_replace('":"{[{','":[{',$chatLog); $chatLog=str_replace(',,',',',$chatLog); $chatLog=str_replace('"}"','"}',$chatLog); $chatLog=str_replace('"}]}"','"}]',$chatLog); echo json_encode(array('messageLog' => $chatLog)); // echo $chatLog; echo print_r(privatemsg_new_thread(array(user_load(1)), 'The subject', 'The body text')); drupal_exit(); }

  • Login in via curl then open that page logged in

    - by user207022
    I'm trying the following code to send post data to the login form, then reload that page in the browser as a logged in user. somehow it's not saving the cookie, and reusing it for the header() function, can the same thing as header be done by calling curl again after sending the login details? .. $ch = curl_init(); curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_URL, $url); $ch = curl_init(); curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_URL,$url); curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_FOLLOWLOCATION,true); curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_RETURNTRANSFER, true); curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_HEADER, true); curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_TIMEOUT, 60); curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_SSL_VERIFYPEER , false ); curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_SSL_VERIFYHOST , false ); curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_USERAGENT, $defined_vars['HTTP_USER_AGENT']); //curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_COOKIEJAR, $cookie); curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_COOKIEFILE, $cookie); curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_MAXREDIRS, 1); // Apply the XML to our curl call curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_POST, 1); curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_POSTFIELDS, $data); $data = curl_exec($ch); setcookie($cookie); header('location: ' . $url); die();

  • Multiple jQuery UI buttons with same ID

    - by Mark Nolan
    There might be a really simple solution to this question, but i just don't see it! I have a page with a list of items. every item has the same jquery ui button (its inside a dialog and adds that item to a list). i identify the item via the parenting DIV holding the DB id. So far so good... The Problem is only the first button on the list works! The second, third etc. buttons don't show any reaction at all. The buttons all have the same id - as the list is dynamic and the same action is triggered with every click. Only the parenting ID changes. Heres the display part: <div id="2"> <div id="56"> <button id="add-audio-file" class="ui-button ui-state-default ui-corner-all">betty_2.mp3</button> </div> </div> <div id="2"> <div id="57"> <button id="add-audio-file" class="ui-button ui-state-default ui-corner-all">betty_3.mp3</button> </div> </div> And here comes the js Part: $('#add-audio-file').click(function() { assetID = $(this).parent('div').attr('id'); pageID = $(this).parent('div').parent('div').attr('id'); $.post( "modules/portfolio/serialize.php", {id : pageID, assetid : assetID, do : "add-audio-file"}, function(data, textStatus, xhr) { $('#dialog-add-audio').dialog('close'); } ); }); I am using jquery 1.4.2 and jquery ui 1.8rc3 Any ideas?

  • Why is a NullReferenceException thrown when a ToolStrip button is clicked twice with code in the `Click` event handler?

    - by Patrick
    I created a clean WindowsFormsApplication solution, added a ToolStrip to the main form, and placed one button on it. I've added also an OpenFileDialog, so that the Click event of the ToolStripButton looks like the following: private void toolStripButton1_Click(object sender, EventArgs e) { openFileDialog1.ShowDialog(); } I didn't change any other properties or events. The funny thing is that when I double-click the ToolStripButton (the second click must be quite fast, before the dialog opens), then cancel both dialogs (or choose a file, it doesn't really matter) and then click in the client area of main form, a NullReferenceException crashes the application (error details attached at the end of the post). Please note that the Click event is implemented while DoubleClick is not. What's even more strange that when the OpenFileDialog is replaced by any user-implemented form, the ToolStripButton blocks from being clicked twice. I'm using VS2008 with .NET3.5. I didn't change many options in VS (only fontsize, workspace folder and line numbering). Does anyone know how to solve this? It is 100% replicable on my machine, is it on others too? One solution that I can think of is disabling the button before calling OpenFileDialog.ShowDialog() and then enabling the button back (but it's not nice). Any other ideas? And now the promised error details: System.NullReferenceException was unhandled Message="Object reference not set to an instance of an object."
