• Probelm After Changing password in ubuntu

  Hi All, I am using ubuntu system which uses openldap for user login authentication. For changing my login password i used "$sudo passwd" and changed it. (of course the password given is same as old one). Then onwards when i trying to run "apt" command it showing command not found. and for some other programs it showing segmentation fault. Can any one tell me why I am facing issue and how to solve this.

• Outlook 2003: authentication before sending doesn’t work (probably command sequence problem)

  hi, i'm having problems with outlook 2003 + smtp authentication. although it's set in outlook, my mailserver won't relay - which means, outlook is trying to mail BEFORE authenticating. i've tried the same with thunderbird, auth + sending works without problems. so it definately must be something in outlook and it's command-sequence - what could be wrong? thx

But once installed if i try to open, it says that it is configuring the microsoft project and later gives an error saying that there is not enough space for it to open the microsoft project.   Hi Guys, I have tried to install memcached in MAMP - Snow Leopard 10.6.2 using this tutorial: Setup a Memcached-Enabled MAMP Sandbox Environment I finished with no errors the first to the last step: Bonus Section: Start and Stop Memcache with MAMP After that I restarted my MAMP widget in the dashboard and checked by phpinfo but the memcached extension is not there. Do you guys successfully installed memcached in your MAMP or do you know any other way on how to make it work? Thanks in advance :)

• Disable MySQL startup in Ubuntu 10.04

  Hi all, I want to prevent MySQL from starting in Ubuntu 10.04 I have used update-rc.d -f mysql remove and confirmed that there is no link to the /etc/inid.d/mysql script from any of the rc?.d directories. I also ran sysv-rc-conf and it shows me that MySQL is being called as part of the rc.d scripts. It is still starting on boot. How do I disable it? Regards, Bryan

  Hi, I'm trying to access my OSX (snow leopard) machine from my Windows 7 machine. Both machines are within my local network I don't need outside access.   Hi, I would like to run apache as a limited user on Windows 2008 R2 for security reasons. I've created a user in the user group (let's call it apache), and set the user to run as in the services pane, but then I am unable to start the service (probably not enough permission to bind to port 80). What is the minimum privileges needed to run apache on windows 2008, or what should I do to allow the user apache to bind apache 2.2 to port 80? Thanks!
