    Hi, I am using Linkproof device for incoming load balancing based on which is based on dns. For example my linkprrof have 3 isp link.... it also act as a dns sevrer for my sites...so when someone connect me by using my dns name my linkprrof give them ip from 3 isp which ever is responding fast. so is there any same kind of open source solution for dns based incoming load balance is possible ??? sahil

  • samsung NP530 laptop cannot enter bios setup

    Hi my friend has a samsung NP530U3C and he has changed the bios to CSM only now it stuck on a loop and will not boot up, the options "F2 setup" "F4 recovery" are there but they do nothing.I have a bootable USB with win 8 that "installs" right up to restart then....back to the loop or in stall.Please can some one help its been driving me mad i just need to get tothe bios and change it back to EFI/CSM. Thanks.

  • user crontabs don't work, only /etc/crontab

    Hi when I use the command crontab -e to set up cron, the commands get triggered (according to syslog) but nothing happens. Also if I run sudo crontab -e. The only way to actually get cron working is to manually etc /etc/crontab I'm confused, since syslog gives me the same output for both methods. Any ideas for tracing down this bug? Thanks alot!

    Hi everyone, i've recently installed kubuntu 9.10 amd x64, on an HP 6830s. The installation went smoothly, with only one problem: when I try to use the internet, it's incredibly slow. I couldn't install Firefox or anything that requires the internet. I have tried most of the solutions I found through Google, but none of them solves the problem. If anyone has an idea, I would appreciate the help.

    Hi guys, I've just updated from 9.10 to 10.04. Everything seems to run fine except for zend optimizer which is throwing "Zend Optimizer not installed" error. I went to php.ini and the following line is still there Code: zend_extension=/etc/php5/ZendOptimizer.so Also I checked that the file does exist and that the php.ini I am looking at is in fact the php.ini file that is being used by the server. Please let me know if you have any ideas about how to fix or debug this. Thanks, Eugene

    Hi, I would like to know how to prioritize traffic from various applications. Specifically I want to know if there is a way to give web traffic higher priority over bit torrent traffic. OS : Windows XP Browser : Firefox Bittorrent client : uTorrent Can I somehow shape the traffic such that, when I am browsing, bittorrent traffic gets suppressed (but not completely) and once no web traffic is detected , it is allowed to continue at full speed ?

    Hi there! I'm wondering if it is possible to have a set of SQLdb servers to which data is written and have them replicate, avoiding conflicting information. I imagine that a Master/Slave structure would be mandatory, I would like to know if a system where servers have no hierarchy could support replication. Currently I'm using MySQL, but I would be happy to move to another database if needed. Any ideas? :)

    Hi all, I recently was tricked into running one of those registry cleaner programs (RegistryBooster). It seemed to work fine until I tried to start my postgres service. For some reason, the 'path to executable' was no longer set on the service properties page, and obviously would not start without a path.     Hi there, I am using ubuntu 9.10, and I would like to associate thunderbird to all the files with the extension .eml. The problem is that is seems that ubuntu is attributing the mime type text/plain to these files, based on their content, which meens that if I set thunderbird as the default application for .eml files, all the other text files (.txt for instance) will be opened with thunderbird. Is it possible to add a rule to impose a mime type based on the file extension, regardless of its content?

So we plan to use the newer TortoiseSVN 1.6.x Is it possible to use two different servers while using only the new TortoiseSVN? Another solution may be using an old TortoiseSVN compiled against subversion 1.2. Is this possible? What about using two TortoiseSVN (1.2.x and 1.6.x)?

I'm trying to delete old calendar items (I have a few years' worth) in Outlook and was wondering if there was a way to delete only non-recurring items as I need the recurring events for the future. I tried View Arrange by Current view Category and figured that I could manually check and delete any calendar items by hand.
