• Drupal CCK Text field not saving.

  Hey Guys, I've been trying to write a CCK Field based on the Text field. But if I create a standard CCK Text field with only 1 value. Then edit a content item for this type, the values are never persisted. When I go back in and edit the same node, the value isn't there. I checked the database and its not in the table for the CCK node. If I use more than one value it works fine. I'm upto date on CCK (6.x-2.6) and CTools (6.x-1.5). Has anyone seen this? and a possible solution?

• iPhone - AES256 Encryption Using Built In Library

  Hey all, I am using http://pastie.org/966473 as a reference as all I need to do is encrypt something using AES256 encrypting. I created a class and put the implementation in the pastie on top of the implementation for my class. @implementation //pastie code @end @implementation //my class code @end In my class code I create a NSMutableData and try to call the EncryptAES method and I get a warning saying it might not respond to that. What am I doing wrong here? do I need to implement the pastie code elsewhere? Thanks for any help.

• Loading large amounts of data to an Oracle SQL Database

  Hey all, I was wondering if anyone had any experience with what I am about to embark on. I have several csv files which are all around a GB or so in size and I need to load them into a an oracle database. While most of my work after loading will be read-only I will need to load updates from time to time. Basically I just need a good tool for loading several rows of data at a time up to my db. Here is what I have found so far: I could use SQL Loader t do a lot of the work I could use Bulk-Insert commands Some sort of batch insert. Using prepared statement somehow might be a good idea. I guess I was wondering what everyone thinks is the fastest way to get this insert done. Any tips?

• Importing HTML into TinyMCE using ColdFusion

  Hey everyone, I would appreciate a pointing in the right direction with the problem I'm having. In short, I'm working on an application that will create PDFs using TinyMCE and ColdFusion 8. I have the ability to create a PDF by just entering in text, pictures, etc. However, I want to be able to import an html template and insert it into the TinyMCE . Basically, I have a file directory code snippet that lets me browse through my 'HTMLTemplates' folder, and am able to select an HTML document. Now, I want to be able to take all the code from that selected HTML document and insert it into my TinyMCE box. Any tips on how I might do this, maybe? Thanks!

  Hey Guys, I have made one project in java. Now in this particular module, i am showing the user , so i am showing them a stock inventory. Now for doing this. As you will see in the screen shot [ i have put screenshot so you can understand well ]. To show the images , i have made one table and i have put labels in that and then i am setting the icon at the label. Now as soon as user click on the any image, then that image i put on big label. But this works perfect on mouse click but client want that , if user navigate the by keyboard arrow keys then in same should be happen. Means : User navigate by key board then it should reflect on that table [user should know that which is currently seleted ] and then as soon as the user navigate by key board arrow events and then click enter then that image should reflect on big label.   How do i run ssh-add key sudo hg clone [email protected]/etc/etc but use my ssh keys and not the superusers. Hey everyone, when i use sudo with for example, sudo hg clone [email protected]/etc/etc after i have added a key to my user account it doesnt work. I remember this is because the sudo is ran as the superuser but that user cannot have keys added to it. I remember setting some directive (im using debian) that allowed me to run that command as sudo, but still have my ssh keys taken from my normal user account but i didnt make a note of it at the time. • Can we view objets in the JVM memory?

  Hey, At work we found that on some instances (particulary the slow ones) we have a different behaviour, acquired at the reboot. We guess a cache is not initialized correctly, or maybe a concurrency problem... Anyway it's not reproductible in any other env than production. We actually don't have loggers to activate... it's an old component... Thus i'd like to know if there are tools that can help us to see the different objets present in the JVM memory in order to check the content of the cache... Thank you!

  Hey guys, i want to create a small document management system. there are several users who store their files. each file which is uploaded contains an info which user uploaded it and the document content itself. In a view there are displayed all files of ONE specific user, ordered by date. What would be better: 1) giving the documents a name or metadata(XML) which contain the date and user (and iterate through them to get the metadata) or 2) giving the files a random/unique name and store metadata in a DB? something like this: date | user | filename What would you say and why? The used programming language is java and the DB is MySQL.

• How to I reference a pointer from a different class

  Hey team of awesomeness!, (Iphone Objective-C question) First off, I despise singletons with a passion. Though I should probably be trying to use one, I just dont want to. I want to create a data class (that is instantiated only once by a view controller on loading), and then using a different class, message the crap out of that data instance until it is brimming with so much data, it smiles. So, how do i do that? I made a pointer to the instance of the data class when I instantiated it. I'm now over in a separate view controller, action occurs, and I want to update the initial data object. I think I need to reference that object by way of pointer, but I have no idea how to do that. yes I've set properties and getters and setters, which seem to work, but only in the initial view controller class. • Visual Studio Add-in Exec running Automatically

  Hey guys, I have a dilemma that I am uncertain about, as I not sure if it's is exactly possible for a Visual Studio Add-in to run its code automatically. I need an add-in that can run passively, like a logger for Visual Studios. However, the Exec method that I know so far can only execute commandbar functionality, but I need the code to execute when the user right-clicks, or select a line of text. I was able to make an automatic logger if i put my code in the "querystatus", but that would be considered bad programming, and it does not log when I simply select a piece of text. Does anyone know how to make a passive or automatic running code in Visual Studios?

• C# 2D Vector Graphics Game using DirectX or OpenGL?

  Hey Guys, So it has been a while since I have done any game programming in C#, but I have had a recent bug to get back into it, and I wanted some opinions on what configuration I should use. I wanted to use C# as that is what I use for work, and have become vary familiar with. I have worked with both DirectX and OpenGL in the past, but mostly in 3D, but now I am interested in writing a 2D game with all vector graphics, something that resembles the look of Geometry Wars or the old Star Wars arcade game. Key points I am interested in: • Ease of use/implementation. • Easy on memory. (I plan on having a lot going on at once) • Looks good, I don't want curve to look pixelated. • Maybe some nice effects like glow or particle.   Hey y'all. Is this possible using jQuery/PHP? I am looking to have my webpage automatically go to a different web page at a certain time of day. For example, i have a 'breakfast' page that is supposed to auto-redirect to the 'Lunch' (www.mylunchpage.com) page at noon. Then the lunch page go to 'Dinner' (www.mydinnerpage.com) page at 5pm. I want it all based on time of day on not on a timer. Yes, the browser will be open all day... Any idea on how to make this work? Any advise will be greatly appreciated.

Let's assume I have the following standard SQL query: SELECT *, COUNT(test.testId) AS noTests FROM inspection LEFT JOIN test ON inspection.inspId = test.inspId GROUP BY inspection.inspId which I want to use in JPA. I have an Inspection entity with a one-to-many relationship to a Test entity. (an inspection has many tests) I tried writing this in JPQL: Query query = em.createQuery("SELECT insp, COUNT(???what???) FROM Inspection insp LEFT JOIN insp.testList " + "GROUP BY insp.inspId"); 1) How do I write the COUNT clause? I'd have to apply count to elements from the test table but testList is a collection, so I can't do smth like COUNT(insp.testList.testId) 2) Assuming 1 is resolved, what type of object will be returned. It will definitely not be an Inspection object... How do I use the result?

• UITableView: Need a liveUpdate (Huge amount of cells)

  Hey all, I have a UITableView which shows some information. The informations are from a XMLFile. The Xmlfile is pretty big, about 500 entries. I don't want that the user has to wait until the parsing has finished, i want to add cell by cell to the TableView. I don't have my expected liveUpdate which i'm searching for. The intervall the method is called is about 0.001 to 0.0025 seconds. Any ideas to fix that? Sebastian

  Hey Now, Is there a SQL Server Management studio add-on/plug-in that will enhance the tab switching dialog box when Ctrl+Tab is used to switch tabs to provide a thumbnail image of the tab? When we use Ctrl+Tab to switch tabs we see the list of tabs open. When we switch tabs in Visual Studio we get a small thumb nail preview screen of the tab along with the tab names. It would be great if there was an add-on that we could install to provide an image in addition to the file names. Thx, Catto

  Hey all, I'm new to using WPF. I have the following program I want to create: -Application opens up with one button -User clicks button and it takes them to a new page with various input. I'm confused about how I need to do this. I tried opening a new window, but I don't want a window to open up, I want it to be all one Window. I tried creating a new page and navigating to it using NavigationService but couldn't get it to work. Basically I want to create a workflow where the user enters some stuff, clicks the next button and is taken to a new page to enter some more information. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

• Data Usage Checker Tools

  Hey All, I am about to begin a project for a new client, and am worried about a few things concerning data usage on their internet plan. We're in an area where most of the major networks don't cover the area, and the ones that do, have very expensive plans, with very low data allowance per month. I need to develop an app, but part of the problem lies with checking database values every 30 seconds. It's pretty important that this check is happening every 30 seconds, as the database is actually updated all day everyday, approx. every 5seconds (apparently). Each row in the database consists of about a page full of text if you were to paste it into MS Word. So, are there any logical ways of minimizing data usage in my case, and also how am I able to see exactly how much data is used just to establish a connection to the database? Are there any tools for this kind of info? Thanks :)

  Hey, I want to add a parameter to a URL but currently it isnt showing in the $_GET global. A snippet from my htaccess file is as below: RewriteRule ^account/blogs/([0-9]+)/([^\s?]+)/?$ /account/blog.php?blogId=$1 [L,QSA] Then in my php code i want to add a link such as: /account/blogs/1/ThisIsWhereTheTitleGoes?delete=1 The wildcard (any char but space) option is for the blog title as i never know what it would be. I know want to add a query string param on the end such as ?delete=1. I however dont want this as part of the rewrite. Does anybody know how to so this? Thanks
