  • Can you work with SSJS on apache?

    I just stumbled upon SSJS - Server Side JavaScript - It sounds very interesting but the information about it on the internet is very scant and contradictory. Do you know if this can be implemented on an Apache webserver?   • Windows 8.1 will not sleep after wake up

    I have problem with sleep/screen saver on my new Windows 8.1 machine. It will go to to sleep or start screen saver after start (or restart). But if it goes to sleep (manually or automatically) and I wake it up, it wont start sleep or start screen saver again automatically. I updated chipset and graphic cards drivers.     hey all, I'm trying to create a local user on a new ubuntu box my admin set up. I'm unable to change the password, I keep getting the error below. The user gets added to the shadow file but I can't get it to set a password. Any ideas?     Hi, I am experimenting with LDAP. As I see it, apache uses the Unix password field to get the credentials and samba the field that is specific for samba. I just use the LDAP server for a single server, LDAP runs in the same server. What I wanted is to use the same password for apache and samba (and mediawiki etc). Is it possible? If not, are there any alternatives? Thanks!

  • Keeping folder display the same as it was left

    In Word 2007 (and also on previous versions I have used), when I open folders, they open with icons or a list. I like 'detail' display and change it to that. I like detail because I can see which file is most recent and the size. But the next time I open the same folder, it opens back to icons or list but not details. How can I get it to stay where I left it? Thanks.

    Hi, We have a OID which is maintaining data about various users. This OID is being accessed by many weblogic servers. Weblogic servers are getting authenticated using this LDAP, but when a particular server authentication fails it causes authentication process failure for all servers, so we want to track that specific server which is causing this error. Is there any facility to know which servers are using the OID or i would like to know that does OID maintains any LOGs of its usage for security purpose.. Thanks.

  • Complications registering a punycode domain name

    Not sure if any of you have experience with this, but I am trying to include the anchor (?) in my domain name (using the appropriate punycode to allow it) but upon registering it I encounter the error that the symbol is not supported by the language I have chosen.   • unable to display anything other than directory listing

    Okay i have what may seem a really easy to solve problem but i've been trying to solve it for days. I'm trying to deploy a asp.net MVC2 application to a IIS 5.1 server running Windows XP Pro. (it's actually the default MVC2 app) However when i deploy, the only thing i'm able to see is a Directory listing. I tried a lot of stuff but can't get it to display anything other than the directory listing. hopefully i'm just a noob who forgot to add something, thanks for your answer :)

  • How can make rsync use sudo

    I use rsync to mirror a number of folders on our failover server. However, some of our files, such as thumbnails or full-text indexes, are generated by our applications under the web user (named 'nobody'), and default to restrictive permissions. Also, I'm doing this over ssh, where root access is disabled, and I'd like to keep it that way, if possible. Is there any reasonable way I can tell rsync to run as sudo? Or should I look into changing the file permissions? Thanks
