• Bad access on removing the record from the contacts

  Hi all, I am facing a issue in removing the ABRecord . The code that i use is as follows : BOOL isRemoved = ABAddressBookRemoveRecord(addressbook, record, &error).   I have a multi-user software solution (containing different applications, i.e. EXEs) that should allow only a limited number of concurrent users. It's designed to run in an intranet. I dont have a really good, satisfactory solution to the problem of counting the client licenses yet. The key requirements are: Multiple instances (starts) of the same application (= process) should count as only one client licence Starting different applications of the software solution should also count as only one (the same) client licence Application crash should not lead to orphaned used licences The above should work also for Terminal Server environments (all clients same IP, but different install folders) I'm looking for estabilished patterns, solutions, tips for managing used client licenses. Specific hints for the above sitaution are also welcome.

  I have a need to convert any document gets uploaded to Image. I downloaded the exe (with all the dlls) on my local machine (dont have to install) export.exe sourcefile.doc destinationfile.gif this syntax works from my local dos prompt. How do I use the same syntax "export.exe exampledoc.doc exampledoc.gif" when an item is added to sharepoint doc library. and Do I need to put the folder (where the exe and dlls are for this) in the sharepoint frontend server so it's accessible? If yes, where should this folder reside? Does the folder and files need sharepoint service account access? In Table "Indian Customer" i want to put a constraint so that the users entring data in this table should not be able to enter customers that dont exist in "Customer Master" or whose branch location is not IN. also the tables are in the same project but are not directly related.

  How to know the size of a declared variable in GMP??or how can we decide the size of an integer in GMP? mpz_random(temp,1); in manual it is given that this function allocates 1limb(=32bits for my comp) size to the "temp".... but it is having 9 digit number only.. SO i dont think that 32 bit size number holds only 9 digits number.. So please help me to know the size of integer variable in GMP .. thanks in adv..

  We have Red Hat Enterprise Linux servers at work place. However we dont have Red Hat Linux desktops. So I used CentOS 5.4 to compile the Mono sources and generated the Mono framework for CentOS and tested with some sample codes and I am satisfied. I want to transfer this compiled framework to Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5. How Can I do that? Do I have to compile the Mono framework statically or do I have to copy the linked libraries as well? I am not familiar with linux much. Any help is highly appreciated.

• Delete a line from a file in java

  Ok, so I'm trying to delete lines from a text file with java. Currently the way I'm doing this, is I'm keep track of a line number and inputting an index. The index is the line I want deleted. So each time I read a new line of data I increment the line count. Now when I reach the line count that is the same index, I dont write the data to the temporary file. Now this works, but what if for example I'm working with huge files and I have to worry about memory restraints. How can I do this with.. file markers? For example.. place the file marker on the line I want to do delete. Then delete that line? Or is that just too much work?

Thanks Suppose that you have a binary file that contains numbers whos type is either int or double. You dont know the order of the numbers in the file, but their order is recorded in a string at the begining of the file. The string is composed of the letters i for int, and d for double, in the order of the types of the subsequent numbers. The string is written using the method writeUTF. For example the string "iddiiddd" indicated that the file contains eight values, as follows: one integer, followed by two doubles, followed by two integers, followed by three doubles. Read this binary file and create a new text file of the values written one to a line.

• Why does MSBuild fail from the command line where VS2008 succeeds?

  I have an ASP.NET solution that builds just fine from within VS2008. However , it fails when i do this : MSBUILD.exe c:\path-to-sln It fails with a CS0006 error ("Metadata file 'dll_name' could not be found"). It also fails when I try with a .csproj of a project within the solution. What is VS2008 doing that MSBuild is missing ? It is my understanding that VS knows about inter assembly dependencies that MSBuild cant. Is there any way I can inform MSBuild of these? (I need MSBuild to work from the command line because I am calling it from an MSBuild-Task from within CruiseControl.Net.) Thanks in Advance. :3) (I have looked at http://stackoverflow.com/questions/280559/how-to-get-cmd-line-build-command-for-vs-solution , but still dont get it)

  I'd like to include a within the footer of my website a "facebook fan count". I believe this will add an incentive to users considering clicking our facebook icon. "join XXXX fans on our facebook page" for example. I want the XXXX to be automatically populated with our facebook fan count. I want to do the same with twitter.   Hi. Iam developing a multithreading application using BackroundWorker. In the Do_Work method I call another method, in that method I add alot of data into a list using a while-statement. My goal is to add all the data that in the list to show in a GridView. How can I do that so every time data adds to the list, the gridview uppdates? Instead of waiting that the while-statement has runned finished. When the while-statment adds a value to the list, the value adds into the gridview? It must be in the ProgressChanged, but I dont know how to do that :S Many thanx in advance. /Lars

• Google search result redirecting to tinyurl4.info

  When you google for these keywords: crtaci.info First result is my site, www.crtaci.info. Now, i have no idea what is happening, but when you click on that search result sometimes it redirects you to tinyurl4.info: I know in this image user is using IE, but both me on win7 and firefox and IE8 and my buddy on linux(and some browsers i have never heard of) both tested this and we got redirected to this site. But only once. Now when i do that again, it opens up my site. What the hell is going on? Please advise what to do! :( Maybe i should open this on serverfoult, i dont know... :( UPDATE: This only seems to be happening when you do this for the first time in your browser. Next time you do it it is ok. I have opened up chrome, which i only use for testing and did these steps: open google.com search for crtaci.info click on first result i get redirected open google.com again search for crtaci.info again it works fine now

Now, the problem is that when attribute_types.type equals to ?some-type? i want it to return a value as it's stored in product_attribute_values table. Currently I get BLOb every time. When i echo the $sql, all the values are set properly. and when i ech the $result i get the value 1. can someone please tell me what am i doing wrong here??

I have an entity which has some information about places, and I want to show a collection of those places in a single map on a JSF page. I have a Collection of coordinates to be assigned as points on a polyline in Google maps, and I've got this collection as a return of a java function of the jsf page, but I dont know how to get this collection from jsf and then how to make the map work I'll be very greatful if someone can give me some jsf code as an example. I read somewhere that threads using native thread module in 2.6 dont make use of multiple cores. is that true?
